Lucid's Future Amidst The Middle East Conflict

Agree with your points.

Until recently, the auto-pac between US and Canada blocked the entry of Chinese EVs to the North American market. That's changing!.

I was just in Toronto. No Chinese EV showrooms yet, but they are coming soon. With time, the Chinese EV manufacturers will establish the necessary infrastructure in North America to be competitive. The North American EV landscape will change significantly in the coming decade!
I never thought it would be possible to unwind our tech lead so quickly by such “foolhardy “ groups

Btw CEER will reveal it is new car in a week

I am not sure why lucid is not part of this. I was hoping they could supply at least the motors

They are literally neighbours

The plants are next to each other wall to wall 🤣

CEER is a low cost volume producer, Lucid tech is too expensive for those cars to be profitable. CEER is for Gulf countries, not US or Europe. Lucid is their luxury so they need to differentiate.

I thought the Atlast Motors are the lowest cost motors per kw in the industry?

Does that imply inexpensive? I mean is a Bugatti the lowest cost 300 mph car available?

Doesn’t matter. Who’s going to buy it? No legacy manufacturer is going to buy anything from Lucid. Maybe Lucid can use it in their own cars, all two of them. They got bigger kettles of fish!

Yes because their drivetrain also uses the lowest amount of batteries. The rest of the car however, is low volume expensive stuff...The Bugatti is not the lowest cost 300 mph, its money no object and priced accordingly. Where else would CEER get their motors? Hyundai is the only other realistic option.

Aston Martin, for one.

According to the press release CEER is using components from Hyundai, BMW, Siemens and several other firms. Motors have a low impact on vehicle profit.

I thought Aston Martin was owned by Lawrence Stroll. DId he sell?
They are a public company, but his group owns about 30%. Mercedes provides them with ICE engines for some models.
