The CEO has acknowledged that prior products were rushed and released before they were ready. So it that vein it seems that a deliberate rollout is exactly what Lucid needs. This is a company that can ill-afford another botched software launch. It would completely undermine the new leadership team.

I am certain lots of people wish this were true. That would also make it harder to manage and may result in less useful feedback than a small, focused group.

That isn’t true. There are already features gated on CCCv2 in Air, like the Google Places integration. Infotainment is also faster, and regardless of UX3, there will undoubtedly be other features gated on CCCv2.
But you do not have to buy it and can wait if you feel like it.

Regardless, I thinkUX3 fir the Air isa good thing. I haven't upgraded to CCS2 yet. I will believe it when I see it.
I understand Lucid/@maqie want informed Air users to participate and keep the meeting small and interactive. What puzzles me is why they posted an open invitation on this forum with less than 10 days to the actual event.
UX3 on Air has been promised for a while. We still have no release date yet!

I imagine the short timeline is because Lucid is trying to release new functionality to the Air as quickly as they can.

I hope Lucid learned it lessons and make sure UX3 on the Air is thoroughly validated through all use-conditions and not just focus on the eye-candies and features. SW/HW validation is non-glamorous, but essential!I’m referring to their integration with native Lucid nav.

I believe the target, as referenced in the article was "fall." But that suggestion was provided in January. Given the change in leadership and more recent comments I would expect that UX 3.0 will be released when it's ready. The current leadership team is placing more emphasis on getting things right than doing things quickly. Clearly, UX 3 should be release only when it is ready.
My take is, if Lucid is just getting owner's inputs tomorrow, it is unlikely it is ready for prime time.

Oh is this the first customer input ever for ux3? I wasn’t aware of that.
And if the system design is similar to what I think it could be, they could easily change what shows where without having to do any rewrite.
I mean we’ve been building sw that configures itself at runtime like for decades. If you want it dynamic then a simple wrapper to capture triggers to change that can reread the layout. I’ve designed systems that are a shirtload of tiny modules,like legos, that can be assembled and reassembled easily but not changing a LINE of code.
Maybe things like how do you like what we did to bring back the old seatbelt warning that also meets regulations

I’m as excited for ux 3.0 as anyone else but it bears to note the distinct lack of “Air Issues” posts over the last several months (albeit after the serious bricking incident). But since then and the subsequent rollout of the fix, it seems a lot quieter on the Air front in terms fo software complaints. So I guess we should be careful what we wish for and enjoy the relative stability we have now.
For me, they can take all the time they need to get 3.0 right.
