I am so frustrated with my car. Since purchasing car, I’ve been using my Tesla wall Charger with an adaptor and occasionally the car just stops charging for no reason. I don’t have the scheduled charge on& it starts green, but when I go to check it, it’s just doing nothing! The app never works - I can’t even access anything in it! It just continuously says “waking up” and never does! I must admit I’ve been disappointed with my purchase. I never had these issues when I had my Tesla

I'm not suggesting your car is without blame, but have you tried using a different charger--a portable L1/L2, for example, or an L2 that is located nearby your home?

You may want to make sure the car isn't trying to pull more from the charger than your line and charger can provide. Changing amp limits inside the cars has worked in various posts here. There are many threads here about charging.

I use two Tesla wall chargers to charge my Polestar and my Gravity - adjusting amperage has helped in the early stages. That has been 2 years and 1 year ago and haven't had any problems other than way back in the early stages.

I am using a Tesla wall charger on a 100 amp circuit that was installed in 2014. It works perfectly fine. I have the car's charging amp limit to 40 amps. I have not tried a faster charging speed because, quite frankly, I don't need it. The car is charged by the time I wake up either way. I also prefer to not stress the battery or the charger any more than is necessary. YMMV

If your car never “wakes up” make sure you have good cellular service at your house on AT&T.

You don’t need cellular to unlock your car using mobile key or anything, but the car needs cellular for remote access, at least for the initial wake up.

As for stopping charging, what model of charger do you have? (Specifically, as in a model number, not “tesla wall charger” since there have been many many iterations)
