My Android Auto is doing that some now (since 3.6.3). It never used to. It was one of the few things that worked BETTER on this car than others. Never had it drop since they gave us AA months ago... until 3.6.3. Then all of sudden I was seeing occasional drops and immediate reconnects. Both wired and wireless. I had to go into AA developer mode to turn off wireless and force it to wired to test that. (Plus there were road trips through dead zones where I wanted it to connect to my Starlink wifi, which can only happen while it's using AA wired).

Almost a month into owning my Gravity, and this whistling or whooshing sound is driving me crazy. My car is already in service for several other issues, including the frunk not opening since day one and the window auto-close frequently stopping midway due to misalignment, which many other owners have also reported.
The technician said they have not been able to identify the whistling sound. I am currently driving another Gravity as a loaner, and interestingly, it has the same sound, although it is much less noticeable than in mine. I am starting to wonder whether this could be a design flaw.
Did you pick up the vehicle or have it delivered?
I would hope that before a vehicle is picked up, the team doing the prep would have checked these items.
I also had to drive from San Diego to Costa Mesa to pick up the car and avoid the delivery fee. The delivery felt extremely rushed, because it was the end of the month. The representative told me they were very busy with so many deliveries that day, so I did not receive a thorough walkthrough. He basically handed me a sheet of paper with a few tips. Yes, I was already a Lucid Air customer, but this was still a completely different vehicle!
Credit where it is due, though. The San Diego Service team has been amazing. They quickly arranged my service appointment and, more importantly, provided me with another Gravity as a loaner.
I'm suddenly having issues with my second row, left hand side.
- It does the full drop down from the button in the trunk.
- it slides properly to the front of its tracks for easy access when you press the button on the side of the seat itself.
But, when you pull the seat-back up into the sitting position, the seat takes it upon itself to move back to the back of the tracks, squishing the person you've just installed in the third row. The silver "move forward" rocker on the side of the seat moves it about halfway back to the front of its tracks but it will not go any further. There's no motor sound or indication it's trying to go further, it just stops. I've given the tracks a thorough inspection and there are no obvious blocks (though I'm not a fan of the worm drives they use and there's altogether too many metal parts scraping past each other and making noise). I've also tried hard resets. Anyone else experienced this? Anything else to try before service? I know the second row seats have been an issue and believe they may even have changed some part designs already, but still hoping there's an easy fix.

My Gravity did this for the first time this afternoon. It actually opened the garage door from just the car waking up as I approached. As soon as it started to open, I stopped and was wondering what was going on for a few seconds before remembering reading about this bug. I never actually even got close enough to engage the auto-unlock of the doors before the door was already fully opened; not sure if disabling the auto lock/unlock feature would keep you safe from this possibly happening.
Two owners reporting this in the last 2 days, in addition to previous postings!
Even one occurrence is one too many.
I'm not a lawyer, but if I were Lucid, I'd be concerned for my customers' safety and the associated liability.
I hope Lucid is aware of this and works on a remedy.

How's everyone doing with hands-free calling/the microphone? It's better than it was (it was totally useless until one of the more recent updates - I carried earphones around to be able to do handsfree calling) but I still have issues.
I have some calls where people can hear me, but I also still have about half my calls where the other side says they have a tough time hearing me unless I am literally shouting. I note that with at least one person whom I talk to frequently, it happens all the time. (I'm sure folks are going to say it's probably on his side, but since it is also happening with others, and it's been a consistent problem, I'm not at all convinced that's the case - I mention it though in case there is a specific set of conditions that make it worse).
I also note that any kind of text dictation, across multiple platforms (Messages/AI Tools/MS Teams App) seems poorer than if I were just talking into the phone outside the vehicle. I wonder if the mic is also contributing there.

hands-free calling/Mike works perfectly for me as well. Call quality is better than my earbuds.
