Let rate our service center

KoP is top tier, easy 5/5.

What do you mean by:
unable to add features that were previously included in earlier updates
Service won't be able to modify or implement anything to do with your vehicle's software, other than apply the most recent release. If you're expecting otherwise your perception will suffer, at no fault of the folks trying to provide you with service.

I am tired of dealing with Lucid service. No one answers phone calls or returns them, and issues are not fixed correctly the first time. I am also tired of being told that things “work as designed” when they clearly do not. The service center also seems unaware of what is included in software updates and is unable to add features that were previously included in earlier updates.
On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best and 1 being “I wish I had known this before I bought my Lucid,”
I would rate it a 1. Northern Virginia Tyson Corner.
HOW WOULD YOU RATE YOUR AREA SERVICE CENTER.
Five!

Licidvis one of most mind boggling let downs on tech & operational functions give the endless Atab chrckbooms. Makes zero sense that keys & start issues STILL exist.

Mobile tech from Minnetonka Minnesota gets a 5 for service and response but a 3-4 for availability but to be clear I’m a solid 3 hours away . He does show when he says he will.
My guy even fixed a coolant pump last winter in my unheated garage I felt so very bad for him :-(
I haven’t needed anything for about 8-9 months and we’re waiting for ux3 before we do the console upgrade, what I have is ok, not phenomenal but pretty good

Interesting that most are 5’s.

Shows you that a few hijack the narrative and give everyone the false impression that service is bad.
I think these are more about how they feel about the workers and effort they put in, which is usually solid.

Getting the car in, and how long the car has to sit there until they can finally get to it is often a different matter.

Good point. We should also consider when someone's most recent interaction with service was. I haven't had to deal with my SC since my last annual in March, where I scheduled service a few days in advance. It seems like some SC's have suffered setbacks since then.

Houston gets a 2 from me and I have the receipts if anyone wants to challenge that rating.

San Diego 5/5

I have had two experiences with San Diego service. The first was making an appointment to have the computer upgrade. However, it did in the app, which scheduled it 3 months out. 2 months out from the appt. I noticed that it went missing on my phone. I was down at the studio for some training on the car for my wife and asked the trainer, Nicolette, about it. She took directly to Kenji, the service manager and he assured it was still on his books. The appointment came and her said it would be 2 maybe 3 days. He gave me a loaner. He called the next day and told me to come get it. He gave me his direct number and told me to call anytime.
The second experience was a Passenger air bag sensor problem and rear cross traffice sensor problem. He had me bring the car right in and said it may 2-3 weeks until he a slot. Again, I got a loaner. The car was back to me in 9 days.

I noticed that most of the time when folks are frustrated by how long the vehicle is in shop, it is for safety related problems that required Lucid to immediately have you bring the car in. Scheduled appointments seem to have better luck at getting a quick turnaround time. I was thinking maybe the service scheduling/technician assignment process is biased towards getting the planned appointments taken care of. When a car comes in on a safety related issue, the technician scheduling software adds them to the cue to "first available." This is how I justify it all in my mind.

I would say first in cars that don’t stop followed by cars that don’t go. And then everyone else
Also there might be a backlog on specific parts especially if it’s a safety related recall e.g. requires physical parts

King of Prussia = 10/10.

Coming up on 4 years and never took it in for service.

There is absolutely nothing to serve.

What the heck are you folk doing ? Oil changes? Spark plugs?
Changing wiper blades is so easy if you can't do it yourself you are too stupid to be driving.

Maybe after 20 years you might need brakes... I doubt humanity will be around in 20 years anyway.

Why are you people bothering the service folk?

(Hi Dana!)

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service experience. After a month and a half of waiting for an appointment and an additional week in service. I was initially informed that the issues had been resolved and that a test drive confirmed everything was functioning properly; however, after quick test drive, I discovered that the problems were still present. To make matters worse, I was told that some features may be missing due to insufficient memory or storage, and that Lucid might remove certain features through future updates, which is quite concerning.😮
This relates to both mechanical and software issues on my 2026 Gravity. Since the 3.6 update, the vehicle has lost the lane biasing feature, and during hands-free driving it no longer properly adjusts/scoot over when passing large trucks. Additionally, the update for preconditioning and “smarter energy management” appears to be missing. The screen also fails to display the posted speed limit about 80% of the time. I am currently on version 3.6.4 and I am unsure whether the explanation provided by service accurately reflects the situation.

During a phone call with customer service in Phoenix, I was informed that an update had been pushed to my Gravity vehicle. They also mentioned that they can see some error and that the service center should be able to reinstall the update to ensure no errors are present. If this is done, the missing updates should also be restored. This is all I was asking for and expecting. I understand that the service center cannot and would not modify any features beyond what is included in the update, and I do not expect them to do so.
