Can we make a software wish list of what we feel we need and what we want in future updates for the Gravity.
And rank them.
And rank them.
That would be great, but there's some hardware involved in implementing it....trunk opening by sliding feet underneath...
They could do it with the UWB tech installed in the car. It’s precise enough to be programmed that when you’re standing within a certain distance at the rear of the car it could open the trunk. That would be great, but there's some hardware involved in implementing it.
Likely so. How did they missed this on the Gravity? Cost must be minimal. That would be great, but there's some hardware involved in implementing it.
I've heard of that (was it on a Tesla?), but think it would cause a lot of unwanted openings for me - until I learned to be careful not to stand near the front or rear of the car. They could do it with the UWB tech installed in the car. Exactly what Tesla implemented in the Model X (RIP)They could do it with the UWB tech installed in the car. It’s precise enough to be programmed that when you’re standing within a certain distance at the rear of the car it could open the trunk.
Let's add an exterior button to open the frunk while we're at it.Likely so. How did they missed this on the Gravity? Cost must be minimal.
I believe that every car I had for more than a decade had this feature, mostly BMWs but also an Audi and a Lexus.
Yeah, I agree with this. Our garage is tight and I walk behind the car with no intention of opening the rear hatch. The waving the foot under the car must be a trigger mechanism as otherwise there will be too many unintended openings.I've heard of that (was it on a Tesla?), but think it would cause a lot of unwanted openings for me - until I learned to be careful not to stand near the front or rear of the car.
My wish list:
- PaaK
- HUD stabilization
- Integrated SiriusXM app control
- Send address to car from mobile app
- Automatic screen dimming
- Geofenced automatic locking and unlocking
- Dash cam
- Automatic turn signal shut-off
- Curb rash warning
You can currently send addresses from your phone, not just from the Lucid app but also from Google maps, etcMy wish list:

Right... you had posted that in the other wish list thread too, but the forum wouldn't let me edit my post. And now I cannot edit this one, so history is doomed to repeat. You can currently send addresses from your phone, not just from the Lucid app but also from Google maps, etc
