"Throttle House" released a review of the BMW Neue Klasse iX3 yesterday.

The last time they reviewed the Gravity was a pre-production version in November 2023. They had been fascinated by the Lucid Air which they reviewed several times and were looking forward to a full driving review of the production Gravity . . . and then dropped out of sight Lucid-wise.

What happened? Have they signed off on the Lucid brand?

They did do a more recent Sapphire review.

Sounds like they wanted to make it a full-length review on their main channel but they couldn't bring their gear across the border.

And since they were also busy working in the Grand Tour even more recently, I wouldn't be surprised if they were too busy to get a Lucid into their schedule.

Or maybe they could've gotten a Lucid during their Grand Tour filming. Anything could happen at this rate

I agree I'm speculating against a backdrop of no real information.

However, they once thought Lucid was the new technological pace-setter in the EV space and were anticipating the Gravity to carry Lucid into the mainstream. Also, more than many reviewers, they focus on driving excitement and thought Lucid products brought that in spades. And the new iX3 review indicates they're still following EV developments.

It doesn't seem to me that the Gravity would not be fairly high up their list of review priorities unless something else is going on.

My bet is since the next season of the grand tour is coming out this year, they may be doing something for that, or they’re just busy.

I get a vibe that there are reviewers who are really enthusiastic about Lucid's engineering who decided to give them some breathing space to improve the Gravity, rather than publishing a review where they'd feel obligated to talk about all the flaws.

That's been my suspicion regarding Throttle House, Jason Cammisa, and others from whom I would have expected to see something by now. The Gravity has been in general delivery for well over a year.

Maybe they *did* get one for review, but it is in for protracted service... 🤣

Or they couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone…..

I've tried to reach customer service twice in the past week and waited on hold for extended times -- one time just over 30 minutes. No one ever picked up. Such a very, very different experience from my first several years as a Lucid owner.

Same here. It’s gotten much worse.
