Me, too. Lots of rocky dirt roads in my travels all Summer around the country.

But given I had huge issues with a crimped cable preventing charging and then a 12v error due to a loose pin...I will tell you building an off-road capable vehicle is not just about ground clearance and suspension.
 
Other than atv’s I don’t know any car company that has an off the shelf rock crawler.
A factory gravity rock crawler would have a limited number of purchasers for the effort. Unless you’re talking about a factory team.

Yeah, the vibration from off road driving can be incredibly hard on a vehicle. What's really fun is being in the middle of nowhere in Mexico after having driven your jeep up a dry creek bed to get to a camping spot, and seeing a few screws fall out of the car when you exit and slam your door shut, and wondering how many more went missing somewhere in the creek bed. These days a manufacturer is more likely to be using thread locker on all the screws, but no idea if that's SOP for the Gravity assembly line or not.

I think the point of a halo car is less about how many they really expect to sell, and more about how much buzz and excitement it generates for the brand as a whole. To me, an off-road focused halo vehicle doesn't make sense for Lucid, because it doesn't fit their brand image. If they start releasing more affordable vehicles positioned for the off-road market, then it would make sense.

I'd also like to add that the learnings and lessons from such halo projects can then be applied into downstream models (i.e. the midsize range)
