Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

I imagine there will be further changes and more testing before it it released to the public.
It generally makes sense to collect several changes and qualify them all in the same release, unless there is a single high-impact bug that can be fixed with a low risk of introducing more problems.

It's also possible this goes out just to vehicles they've identified with certain issues. They did that with one of the previous software releases before.

Me when I saw this thread: studying the screen grabs for any hint of Netflix or other streaming additions to front/rear screen.

I was driving my dog to the park in my Gravity this morning when I realized that the software seems stable enough to me that they can graduate from triage and patch fixing to actually deploying some long promised QOL stuff. I think the 3rd row AC activation fell into this category and I look forward to more. Kind of like the Tesla “Summer/Christmas” big updates.

With iOS 27 going to public beta today and the release coming pretty soon(ish) I expect PaaK will come around the same time too.

I want the digital key he hinted at for iPhone Wallet and Watch. Miss this from my iX.
Yes, phone as a key (PaaK) which will be implemented through Apple Car Key in Wallet (and the Android equivalent I assume). When the current iOS 27 beta launched for developers a few months ago people found that Car Key had Lucid Motors listed now. iOS 27 should officially release next month, hopefully the key support comes soon after.

I downloaded iOS26.6 today. It said in part "This update includes bug fixes, and optimize the Spotlight index to prepare for iOS27." Hopefully iOS27 will appear shortly.. Maybe even before next month?

New versions generally come out a week or so after announcement of new iPhones in September. This year the press conference to announce them is on September 9th so I'd expect iOS 27's official release to be the around 15th, the same timing as the iOS 26 launch last year with the iPhone 17 models.

I hope this is a sign that Lucid's software development team is becoming more prepared for rapidly iterating and improving their software stack. Being able to get a prominent influencer a quick fix is a good start. It takes a pretty mature testing system to be able to confidently roll out these fixes, and building can be much harder than developing any individual bug fix. Hopefully owners at large will feel more momentum as well.

Yep...Camp Mode is long overdue and as I predicted, they'll probably release it as camping season ends. lol
What will camp mode have that you cannot do with Creature Comfort and turning on a few 120v outlets, turning courtesy lights off (can you do that) and getting in and out of the back to keep lights from going on/off?

There was a couple laid off software devs talking about how Lucid was still testing software by hand and had no automated testing process at all 👀

I’m mainly hoping for the phone-as-key support and some of the smaller quality-of-life improvements. If 3.6.4 is also a sign that Lucid is getting faster at testing and rolling out software updates, that would be a pretty big win for owners too.

I doubt they really meant all the testing was entirely manual. That's basically unheard of these days. But testing graphic UI software has it's challenges. If you're creating software for a phone, a laptop, or a web browser, there's an entire industry of companies and tooling to support automated testing. Once you start running your user interface on a custom hardware platform in a hybrid real-time/android OS environment, you're off in unknown territory and probably have to build a lot test tooling yourself. If someone said that, they were probably talking about manual integration testing on the full vehicle platform, and not that every single part of the test process is manual.

They absolutely have automated testing.

They also test end to end by hand.
