Yes it should clear sooner, but I've only seen it if I intentionally try and trigger it. This whole seatbelt warning campaign seems to be much ado about almost nothing.
It’s a response to government regulation, not self-imposed.

Nope...I asked a Lucid manager in person..it was not regs driven...also confirmed the hate it's getting.
Well, he is dead wrong as noted earlier. The new regs initially required compliance by Sept 1, 2026 and 2027 but have been pushed back a year by petition.

But the European market is sticking with 2026 and I am pretty sure Lucid wants to sell overseas.

The warning length and individual detection (not available in the old style) are specifically called out.

[Note to self: I can't believe I am wasting my time on this tempest-in-a-teacup non-issue]

I would vote no because I don't want to distract the software team on trivial stuff like this; they have much bigger fish to fry
So what were they doing effing with this in the first place then?

That doesn't seem right. Prior to this change, I'm 99% certain that the old graphic definitely showed exactly which seats individually had someone seated but not belted.

I'm which case all that was needed was adding the "internationally recognized symbol" and ensuring the duration it stayed in screen met the requirements.

If i recall the old one was on the left. And the new reg requires that it be clearly visible from the front passenger seat.

Bug aside, I don’t seem them going back.

One could just, you know, buckle in before putting the car into motion.

Are you going to ignore all the comments about this being a regulatory requirement? We know Lucid sale team or shop manager get things wrong.
If you have until September 2028 to do this, and you also have a whole litany of other software concerns to address, what do you prioritize?

Unfortunately that's not how priority work in the development world, at least from the little bit of experience I have working with developers. That's an easy add-on compared hands free driving for example. I bet you Lucid surely have a version of software with advanced hands free driving right now but can't push it to customers because things like that require more edge case testing and real world tests. Anyway, I don't speak for Lucid. Peace

Already been addressed.
"But the European market is sticking with 2026 and I am pretty sure Lucid wants to sell overseas."

This is almost certainly driving the timeline.
Take a deep breath, please. Little less caffeine, perhaps. Now let's work on curing cancer... 🤣

Since we're all shouting into the void and being unrealistic, I'd like Sabrina Carpenter to bring me an ice cream sandwich with sprinkles and chocolate chips.

I am so glad this seems to be the most concerning problem among Air owners.

Experienced the “improved” graphic today as 2.10.0 was delayed getting to my Air. It’s an abomination. I typically put on my belt after I back out of the garage and close the garage door. Everywhere else, the belt is on immediately. Guess I’ll have to adapt my routine so I never have to scorch my retinas again.

Can't wait for this to come to Gravity. Complaints about its software have been kind of minimal lately.
