I have the Dream Drive Pro package, and let's say that I have it engaged. For some reason, I need to hit the brakes or do something that disengages it. I looked through the driver's manual, and I did not see a way to resume Dream Drive at the previously set speed. I can only find a way to manually accelerate back up to the previous speed and then reactivate Dream Drive again. Is there a button that I'm missing that I can press to simply reactivate and resume the previous speed?

In locations where the assisted driving is not available, and that is my default setting, how do I get it to activate in or switch to adaptive cruise instead?

Simply press up. That will resume at the previous speed.

To answer your second question, press the DreamDrive button again; but you have to ensure you have adaptive cruise control on in settings, and not just drive assist.

Thank you very much. The menu wording is confusing unless you actually read the description, and I had Driver Assist chosen as the default.

That does not work on my car. Never has. I have commented on the lack of resume before.

It did not work on my car as well. As Borski has said, I had driver assist chosen as the default. When I get back into town, I will try changing the default to adaptive cruise and then see if the up button will work then. What is your default choice set to?
 
No idea. I'll have to check.
 
I just checked a short while ago. It is set for adaptive cruise control. No resume.
 
Mine is set for adaptive cruise control, and using the "up" button doesn't work as "resume" for me either
 
That's a shame. I searched and wasn't able to find anything in the manual on 'resume' either. Where's the wishlist to give Lucid feedback?
 
I've seen many conversations on this in the past and for Gravity, we do not have a resume function. Most would very much like to have one.

Maybe @borski was referring to the Air for the up button?
 
When you cancel ACC, you can resume at the same speed by clicking the DreamDrive button again within the first few seconds (I think 3 or 5 seconds?). You can tell if it will resume at the prior speed because it says the prior speed as the max speed in a small font next to the spesdometer (both on the screen and on the HUD). Once those few seconds have passed, it will show the current speed as max speed instead. Pressing up does nothing on the Gravity when ACC/DDP is cancelled, just increases the speed when it is activated.
 
Yes... I am aware of this. However, 3 to 5 seconds is completely useless. It needs to stay set so when you stop at a traffic light, or pass through a slow construction area, you can hit resume to go back to your previous speed. With the limitation you speak of, for all practical purposes there is no resume.
