Lucid Gravity in the wild

Does a Model Y disguised as a Lucid count? 🙂
It does if a Taycan with Lucid bear valve caps does (AKA- messin' w/ the wife! 😂 )

Spotted an Aurora Green GGT with 21/22's trying to maneuver in a small parking lot in the Capitola Village (think very crowded Saturday)

We drove by in our Green/Platinum loaner. It looked packed down there so we blew off going to the Village and went into downtown Santa Cruz instead.

Driving back from Santa Cruz to San Jose on Hwy 17 yesterday.
We were four Lucids in a row! Three Gravities (all Aurora Green) and one Air.
One of the Gravities had a Washington license plate.

It was bumper-to-bumper traffic and drivers of the three Gravities were looking
at each-other in astonishment. It is rare indeed.

Was anyone from this forum in Manitou Springs, CO Tuesday? Was on a jeep tour and passed one. Miss my car back in Detroit!
Sorry, just saw this now. Might have been me- Black with stealth trim? I live in COS, and get to Manitou occasionally. AFAIK, there are about 3 Gravitys in the Springs- another black, and one with a matte gray wrap.

Don't know if it was "local" or just driving through, but the other day I saw a white one turning off 105 to go south on 83. And a couple weeks ago there was a bronze one not too far from there on Roller Coaster road.

It was funny attending the Lucid Owners Club Event in Charlotte. So used to being the only one on the road here and here we pull into a parking lot with probably 10 Gravities and more Air than you could count. Great time and a discovered a fantastic new coffee shop.

We were in Provincetown all last week and drove the Gravity there (and had it parked the whole week -- P'town is not a city you drive *in* just one you drive *to*). On Wednesday we walked around the corner to Box Lunch on Commercial St for sandwiches and halfway through lunch I saw someone driving "our" Gravity past us and got very worried... until I saw the plates were different!

At least one other person visiting that week had an Aurora Green/Stealth Gravity. My husband also sees another one around Cambridge driving our kid to school in the mornings (in the spring).

We're on a roadtrip through coastal Oregon and Northern California that I will report on when we return home but I couldn't resist a trailer. Thursday afternoon as we pulled into the Grand View Vista Point in Lassen Volcanic National Park we spotted a white Lucid Gravity Touring from Florida which I couldn't resist posting. It's the first time I've seen a Touring in the wild. They made it all the way from Florida according to the license plate on the back. We looked around and waited a bit but couldn't find the driver.

We also saw a White Lucid Gravity going the opposite direction on Mt. Diablo Blvd in Moraga, CA Friday afternoon.

We were just getting out of our Renegade Vienna motorhome, when I saw a Gold? Gravity stop at a crosswalk about a half block away. We were about to go into the Highwater Cafe (great food) in Reedsport Oregon on the coast. I tried to mime that we had a Gravity also, and gave him a thumbs up. I don’t think he got that we had a Gravity, but he smiled when he saw the thumbs up. I wish I had been wearing one of my Gravity hats at the time. But oh well! It was great to see a Gravity in the wild.

Thought I'd attached a few photos of my Gravity truly "in the wild," in case anyone is interested. A couple from Utah (Capitol Reef) and the camping pics from dispersed site near Durango, CO. (That spot is amazing...behind Purgatory ski resort. Roads are gravel/rock and bumpy but not too bad for Gravity in Highest setting.)

Coming back from Silverton on 550, saw a green Gravity pass by me! I was surprised to see one and hope they avoided the rock slide that I narrowly avoided. ;-)

Love it! What bike rack do you have on there?

Haven't been camping since Boy Scouts in the early 70's, but have the GGT and am curious. That camping setup looks interesting. would love to learn more.

Ha...yes. I am an "Avid Indoorsman" myself but the Gravity setup makes it easy to get out and travel/glamp/etc.

I've posted a good deal about it. Go to my profile and find the theads I've started.

Your user name says RaleighOne, but I've been to Raleigh and that terrain says west of the Mississippi somewhere.

Ha ha...chedk out other threads of mine. I'm from NC. I did x-country trip, up to Vancouver and down to Colorado for Summer. It's hard to take a bad photo in these parts...;-)
We're also from NC. Mount Mitchell and the Appalachias are pretty nice, but you can only get that "automotive promotional pamphlet" look out in the Rockies.

Driving down 270 south from Frederick, MD today and had an Aurora, Platinum with what looked like the 22/23 on them pass me with VA plates. Made me realize I really enjoy the design on the front and back. I don’t often get to see a Gravity from outside as I am driving mine!

I probably see 3-4 Air a day but rarely see a Gravity in the DMV. I know there are several though.
