Target $0

DCA can work if it's well calculated and executed. Hope it works out for everyone here because down cost averaging hehe
Dollar cost averaging usually refers to buying steadily over time (like monthly) through the routine price fluctuations (up and down, although typically up long term).

It's generous calling chasing a falling knife down "DCA".

Posting this here for documentation purposes. May this be the last time we hear of this saga and put an end to the nonsense.

...who am I kidding, this is a dead horse that'll be beaten to the ends of the earth because wall street cares more about the next quarter than the next 5/10/15/whatever number of years ahead

Last time we hear about that false report, perhaps. Certainly not the last time we'll hear about Lucid's still very uphill struggle to profitability and long-term survival.

Sadly, the cease and desist did very little to stop that clown from posting more articles over it. The fact that Lucid told him to hold all documents in relation to what he wrote basically threatening "we'll see you in court" and he continued to post stories about his original false story means he's ether a very stupid man or knows Lucid can't \ won't go after him.

He also posted a list on X of things he's got right as his "exclusives" and out of all of them he listed, this was the only one that he got completely wrong. In my opinion, this leads to a much bigger problem, Lucid either had or has an internal leaker. One person cannot be getting all the information right based on guessing alone, they're being fed it from the inside. Maybe the document preservation is to not go after him but actually find the source itself.

Agreed. That was my first thought when I read the preserving all documents or communications more as an attempt at trying to find who leaked it if they go after him. Anyway, I’m glad the stock is up today way higher than before this FUD article was posted.

This movement makes me think there were a lot of people that thought Lucid was very close to BK

People have been saying that for years, it's a market meme.

Well, that false report made some think that, anyway. It's not that most actually thought that, but enough did (and sold all at once) to cause panic selling. It's the panic selling that feeds on itself -- others seeing the price fall fast without having time to check out the validity of the "news", scaring more into selling for no other reason than fear of losing 50% more if they wait 5 minutes.

Most panic selling is kneejerk reaction to a quick plunge.

I missed that market window to make a quick 100% return (200% as of today if you held onto it after buying low). Give me one more mass hysteria about bankruptcy, but this time when I’m taking a break at work and looking at the stock 🤣.

Same! Told my wife I wish I had known it dropped so low, I would have dropped a bunch into it. Set an alert so I don’t miss out on the next “bankruptcy” scare 😂

I like to live by "time in the market" over "timing the market", but I admit even that has me tempted 🤣

This is just my fun money. Either LCID or the craps/blackjack table. 😂
Same here, all my fun money goes to individual stocks like Lucid. Serious money goes towards broader ETFs on a regular basis

Depends on if the knife hits the ground. If it doesn’t and reverses back up, you are golden!

Thinking of all those who had stop losses triggered and lost a lot of money!

Same, damn World Cup game distracted me from a massive dip buy:) 🤣

Retail only constitutes a small portion of $LCID holding.
Much of the sale was from institution, not human trader but AI, called algorithmic trading.

I think they have set the algo for Lucid as high risk, so as soon as AI detects article with key word of "Lucid" "Chapter 11" "Privatization" and verified by being AlixPartners client, it deemed the report somewhat true and started algo sale.

I followed Lucid and Afonso long enough to know it's totally BS and was just waiting for Lucid to respond. Too bad I had no change to DCA that day.

Even at today’s price it’s undervalued.
