Lucid (allegedely) hires AlixPartners as part of restructuring.

What is going on! Anyone close to lucid motors able to get some information?

There’s probably only a handful of people who know, probably the new C Suite brought in to privatize it. People absolute went nuts on me when I said it but it’s clear Lucid is not going to succeed publicly. They should be a privately held KSA manufacturer.

You pivoted just like that. I don't have to answer to braindead cultists like you.
Hey, I'm happy to see more members of the forum. But we do try and keep things more civil here than on most of the internet. While I can understand that skepticism of your post rubs you the wrong way, please try and respond more constructively.

Noted.

are you gaskiller's alt account? As much as people suspect new accounts come here to tank the stock, your post history looks like you joined to only to try and pump it.
It has already been said to be false by Lucid’s VP of Communications @nicktwork

Moreover, please do not engage in ad hominem attacks. Your arguments can be better than that.

That goes for all involved in this exchange.

I appreciate Nick Twork clarifying that the AlixPartners engagement is focused on operational improvement and execution, not the darker rumors some people were assuming.

That said, I think Lucid management should probably go a step further with a clear customer-facing message. This is not just about calming investors. Rumors like this can easily make potential buyers hesitate, even if they love the car.

People need reassurance about warranty support, parts availability, service capacity, software updates, and Lucid’s commitment to current and future owners.

The car is still the strongest argument for the brand, but confidence matters too. Lucid should speak directly to buyers and owners, not just Wall Street.

From Lucid’s SEC filing today:

Lucid Group, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that the rumors are completely false. The Company has sufficient liquidity to carry its operations well into next year, as recently published in its last quarterly filings, and it has not formed any special Board committee to explore the scenarios reported today. The Company’s focus is on improving execution, strengthening operations, and positioning the Company to realize the full potential of its technology, products, and innovation. AlixPartners is assisting the Company in that and nothing else and has not recommended bankruptcy to management or the Board of Directors of the Company. The Company undertakes no duty to further update the comments on this matter.

Unsure how they can offer support. Having enough money to last a year isn’t great. They’ve stopped providing guidance on future deliveries. I know we all want a positive spin/outlook but it’s not looking good. If Cosmos doesn’t sell well, I can’t see how the company stays a going concern.

Ubers stake in Lucid and Nuro will prevent Tesla Robotaxi from ever becoming a thing. Nuro is far superior to Waymo and Tesla.

There was a comment in one of the reports which said they are going to focus on Gravity and hold back on Air... What does that portend for the Air's future??
