Well, as per the thread "Took 2K mile road trip, now looking to sell Gravity", and in anticipation of getting title in hand next week, here it the official for sale post.
I plan to keep it on here for at least a couple of weeks, but if not much interest is generated, or I get overrun with low ball offers, Ill resort to some "Carvana" type sale.

We are asking $92K and we think this a really fair price considering the full PPF/ ceramic coat & full ceramic tint on all glass.
If you would like any specific pics or info, please don't hesitate to ask

A few of these have popped up on Cars and Bids lately. It’s worth checking out. I find that sale prices fall somewhere between retail and Carvana offers. There is however a buyers premium (5%) that has to be taken into account.

What prices were you seeing themgoing for ?
 
Whao that are low prices for so less milage or will tax be added again!? Sorry always confusing with us 🤣 especially if you sell privately

It depends on the state you live in. Where I am California, sales tax of almost 10% must be added.
 
Unfortunately there is a big delta here between asking and Carvana. I didn't check Carmax or Edminds. When I sold my last EV, there was quite a lot of variability between offers. I ended up selling it directly to a local car dealer.

How hard is it to remove window tinting?

FWIW the chat on that 300mi sale suggested the seller was selling because the GGT was too heavy for the lift in his garage, and had already bought a Touring as a replacement. 🤷

It’s going to depend on the state and parties involved. In AZ, where I live, there’s no sales tax on private party sales. Other states are different. Buyers are also going to consider where you’re located and whether or not they’ll need to transport the car. That could be anywhere from $500 to $2,000 (assuming they don’t pick the vehicle up). Finally keep in mind there are auction fees (buyer paid) involved on Cars & Bids. At the same time it brings your car a lot of exposure and more transparency than you’ll normally find on typical private party sales. I find results to be higher than wholesale offers (Carvana/Car Max) but less than retail. You can get a better sense of retail by looking at Auto Tempest which aggregates all on-line listings.

Just looked and there are several on there in the high $90s, there are also some in the low 80s....not sure what to make of it. And cars.com is calling the high 90s a "good deal" lol
I guess If I were to split the difference id be somewhere in the $85K range....hmmm something for me to think about

OK. So the buyer has to add the 10% and the seller has to declare it and give it to tax authorization basically?

The seller and buyer have to file the sale/transfer of ownership with the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state they’re in. When they do that, the buyer pays that state’s tax for the state in which they live.
