I have been unable to get this resume feature to work. I push the bar up and instead of resuming it sets a new speed based on the car's current speed. What am I doing wrong? Should I just put my thumb on the knurled part and not the bar?
Yes, you can use two fingers to turn the knurled knob to make sure that you are not inadvertently pressing the slotted button.

Are you pressing the button (either purposefully or inadvertently)? Pressing the button will set the cruise speed.
Now that you mention it, I think I must be pressing the button inadvertently. Thanks for that.

I’m quite happy with the model Y, and while it is not quite as luxurious as a Lucid, the technology is miles ahead.
I could not disagree more re: the technology, unless you only mean FSD.

But I’m very glad you got the car you like. :)

I think it was intended that way too hence the large dial and firm click. I like it better than clicky wheels.

Yes, I was inadvertently pressing the button in & up when I thought I was just pressing it up.

Us old folks tend to press stuff with a heavy hand. I learned that the HomeLink "button" just needs a light finger touch, not a finger press. I'm sure you have seen it when we use our smartphones and we are hammering away at the screen. :D

I’d give my 2025 Air Touring a 5.5/10. If the software took a huge leap forward in usability, reliability, and features, it could go to a 7.5-8. That would have to include phone key becoming as good as Tesla’s (which is good even without ultra wide-band).
Some issues like one-pedal driving jerkiness at 0-1mph I attribute to hardware but I’ve seen Tesla update that with software.

Software: 1/10
Hardware: 7.5/10

When I ordered my Lucid Air Grand Touring in 2022, I got every option available. Prior to ordering, I was led to believe it would be full self driving. After over three years of ownership I’m curious as to the level of satisfaction people have with their Lucid?

Initially, I was impressed with the car and the expectation of future upgrades which would fill in the gaps on all the things I was unhappy with such as the self-driving, media interface, speakerphone quality, and so many things too numerous to mention. I bought $300,000 worth of stock too. 🙈

With ten being the highest, what is your level of satisfaction with your Lucid car ownership?

Mine is a love/hate experience so I give it a 5.
I couldn’t be happier with my second (and first) Lucid Air. For a first time effort from a brand new car company I think that they have hit it out of the park. To those who say ‘…for a $100K car it should…’ I say did you not know that Lucid is BRAND NEW? Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Cadillac, etc., etc. have all been around for decades and decades and decades. Lucid? An hour and a half. Compared to newcomers Tesla and Rivian I think that Lucid *more* than holds its own. I’m going with a 9+ out of 10. Easily the best car I’ve owned and one of the best (the ‘72 2002tii was why the word FUN was created) I’ve driven. I’m rooting for more KSA cash and a little more time!
