Lucid wont accept Extended warranty that DIRECT PAYS? WHAT?!?!?!

Hopefully you have made Lucid understand not honoring them is a big mistake!
I feel like the larger mistake is Lucid not offering one themselves. There are plenty of companies that will underwrite for Lucid and allow Lucid to put their name on the policy.

VW/Audi/Porsche used Fidelity for years and now use Safeguard.

I did run yours and did 350 over for your quote... But you didnt have me quote your Lucid you had me quote your BMW! haha and plus I dont like you as much as @BS8899 his username is straight outta Star Wars... But let me cover your Lucid....
Thanks for the "quote". Now, before @borski excommunicates you and me for doing transactions right under his nose  , educate me a bit on these extended warranties:

[1] my AGT is 2022 with just over 20,000 miles. When should I buy this extended warranty?
[2] is the extended warranty state specific or I can get service anywhere in the US?
[3] your prior posting said Tyler at the Scottsdale SC now honors your extended service warranty as a "good-will gesture". Since you are in the business, you seem to be saying that whether Lucid SC honors the extended warranty or not, your warranty would cover the repair costs anyway. Is my understanding correct?

My apologies if my communication didnt say this more clearly, Tyler did not say that he honors my extended warranty. Tyler is saying that they Goodwill the repairs through Lucid and decided to not use my extended warranty at all.
As far as the best time to purchase a warranty, I always say that you should purchase it with at least 30 days of overlap. That way there’s no chance that you would have a failure fall in the cracks between the eye bought the warranty and my warranty ended time period.

As far as extended warranty is being state specific, the only changes state to state usually have to do with the cancellation policy of the warranty. With Fidelity, I believe in all states, however they do allow a straight pro Rada refund that is calculated on a rule of 78. You can see my cell phone number is listed on the Warranty. So let’s keep @borski happy and feel free to reach out to me or text me. I’m happy to answer any additional questions.

On a sidenote, it is nice that people can see this so they can see behind the curtain. I will always be transparent when helping people from this forum. Especially if you’re supporting member.

(Chatting and discussions are fine. But sale talk should be done in marketplace or offline <3)

(Ps I may be in the market for an extended warranty)

This didn’t answer one of the questions: will Fidelity cover the work if you pay for it out of pocket? Or do they require interaction with the shop?

Fidelity will indeed pay the buyer of the warranty directly for repair work. However, the holder of the contract must get prior authorization before the work is completed by the repair shop. In my particular case, the gentleman that I spoke with on the phone at Fidelity simply ask for me to get the shop estimate from the Lucid repair facility.
