Service Center Not Responsive

Adaptive Cruise is engaged... Lane Assist will literally move me from the BEYOND the Center Line, back to the White Line at the shoulder and BEYOND. In other words, into oncoming traffic and into the "bar ditch". The answer is surely, calibrate the cameras.
If it’s pulling to one side, your wheels likely need alignment.

Just found out today that most service centers are NOT doing concierge anymore— so if you live hours away, you’re screwed.

They said if’s beyond 100 miles, they’ll tow the car— but only if it’s a narrow list of warranty items.

If you are only going to have a small handful of service centers, you can’t expect people to drive hours each way— on two different weekdays— for a repair appointment. Not acceptable.

I was rooting for Lucid to succeed but between this and their serious money issues, I can’t in good conscience buy from them again.

How did you find that out? So it’s mobile service for everything else? If it’s just annual service that’s alright I guess.

Called the Plainview (NY) service center for a speaker issue and they told me. They said it’s up to each individual service center, but they said the two in the NYC region both stopped doing concierge.

They said if you live hours away, it’s now up to you to get the car there for most repairs that mobile can’t do.

Well then, Lane Assist is useless!

Duh! Everybody knows that! I give up...
I’m sorry, did you post for help? We are trying to help you.

If you posted to rant, fine, but please be upfront with that so we don’t waste our time.

I apologize for trying to help you with what you clearly have already fully figured out. 🙄

For the record: LKA is not useless. It works great at keeping you in the lane if you are drifting or not paying attention. It does not steer for you, as that has never been what it was intended to do.

If you already know why you are drifting to one side, which is that your wheels are misaligned, then I don’t understand why you posted. Go get your wheels aligned. Seems like the obvious next step.

If you have a different issue you would like someone to help with, I recommend trying to be a little bit nicer. It goes a long way.

Have a lovely 4th. Good luck.

I do not know this for sure, but this may be temporary; they did this once before when they were really short-staffed a few years ago, even here in the Bay Area, but then undid it once they had more staff.

I don’t know if this is the same situation but it may be.

My first attempt at getting a service appointment for window problems/ trim problem and a front suspension squeak took a few calls , got a rep who said service would call within 48 hours( that was two weeks ago got ghosted). I’m now getting drive unit warnings that started intermittently but now the last two days are constant. The window problems cured themselves after two weeks but the trim and squeak still remain along with the drive fault. I called service within their time window and stayed on hold for two hours before giving up. I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous especially for a company trying to break into the luxury segment. Any suggestions on who to call to get a service appointment?

which center?

Seems like service centers are having trouble helping out customers from all over. I just got the gravity and I have at least 3 issues.

Each time I had to call them and they said they would get the service center to each out and I only get an email saying they've essentially forwarded my concerns to the nearest center and they would get in touch with me. I've never heard back.

Also, the app doesn't have any available appointments for me to make. I fear that the layoffs hit them hard.

Well then, Lane Assist is useless! […]
Just to be clear, lane assist (lane departure protection) is for lapses in attention to help prevent you from crashing, which is the ping-pong that you experienced. It’s a safety feature and not useless, although if lane departure protection engages, it means you did something wrong. Don’t expect it to save your life, similar to seat belts. Seat belts help in a crash, but it’s better to avoid the crash in the first place.

You need DDPro for auto lane centering plus hands-free driving.

Reached out directly to Rutherford service rather than the national number this afternoon. Put on hold till they disconnected me( try again later). Called back and left them with the option to call me back. That was 4 hours ago, now past closing. Is there a problem driving when the car says driveline fault, make service apt? Who knows? I can’t find a rep to talk to or getting someone to call back( three times now over two weeks). This is the first instance where I’m really starting to worry about this company

With the recent leadership changes this week, the main culprit who drove the Service Centers into the ground appears to be gone so hopefully things will start to change. It's not going to happen overnight but fingers crossed we start to see improvements in the coming months.

The warning is yellow. So not critical I’m hoping
