Update:
I received my replacement LCHC, the -03 J1772 model, and installed it this past Saturday. Since it was a switch out, I ended up completing the process myself. I ended up having to run out to Home Depot to get a new lug for the L2 cable as the one there was missing a small chunk of one of the corners. I have no idea why my electrician would have used and provided that lug when it was installed, but since this issue was not isolated to me, I assume it has nothing to do with the charging issue.
Anyway, the installation in the oppressive Florida humidity went well after I installed the new lug, and I was able to charge my AT from 50-80% at a sustained 80.5 amps. I also noticed that the updated web interface for the charger is much faster to load current charging information and updates throughout the charge. The -03 charger also seems to have a slightly thinner/softer sheathing around the charging cable than my -02 unit, so hopefully there are no issues there.
If only I could submit my time to Lucid to take advantage of the $150 stipend to pay for installation…
