Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

Unfortunately, Travelers doesn't cover Nevada when I tried to get a quote.

I'm at $2,700 annually for my lucid air + EQB with 100/300/100 coverage (geico) in Los Angeles. Clean driving record. For all you guys leasing with 2.5k deductibles, don't your leases require $1k deductibles?

Im at $5100 annually from USAA with $1000 deductible in AZ. That's for two vehicles an Air and a Gravity.

@socktucker hi, could you DM me about insurance? I am apparently still too new to reach out on my own. Sorry to take up space in the thread.

Just paying some bills. My Air Pure Premium is 1250 for 6 months. My 2017 Chevy Bolt $1350. Same policy. All state farm. The Lucid seems like a bargain, or the Bolt is considered a collector car that has increased in value. Maybe I can trade it for a GGT. ;)

Wow!!! I think I’m taking top honours in a competition I didn’t want to be in. $8422 per year with USAA. $1000 deductible.

That’s for a 2026 Gravity GT, a 2022 Air GT, and a 2018-build Tesla Model X100D. Zero accidents in the Gravity; a comprehensive claim resulting from a cracked windshield, whose provenance remains unknown, in the Air; and two NOT AT FAULT accidents in the Model X.

What are people paying for their gravity DE now after a year with their insurance renewal?

I used to pay $350 a month for my last 2022 Lucid Air GT Performance last year.

Why is insurance so expensive in the states?!
i pay 1000 € / year for my audi etron, have not asked for Lucid yet..

Litigation and healthcare costs + uninsured drivers

I don't think this is an issue on this forum given the cost of these vehicles but credit score is also factored into insurance rates in the US vs the SF Klasse system. Our good friend's parents (German born dual citizens) alternate between their home in Germany and their home in San Diego and bemoan the insane costs of everything here. 😂

This includes multiple coverage discounts, as we also insure real estate, another car, a small boat and our umbrella insurance with Acuity.

That is a real good deal, what is the insurance company?

It's Acuity. Well established and highly rated, but they do not operate in every state. Unlike a lot of companies, their umbrella insurance is fairly reasonable. (All of the $500k auto coverage is part of their umbrella's requirement.) Annual coverage for our 2002 Lexus SC430 two seat convertible is another $825. I thought it odd that it would be so relatively high, as it would probably be totaled at around $12k.

Thanks ,I will get a quote from them on the Gravity .

My quote from USAA is a little under $1600 / year for me and wife. With discounts, will end up being around $1400 / year. This is for the Gravity Grand Touring. This is with $500k/500k coverage. I posted mine on another thread with the actual screen shot. Obviously SaratogaLefty is a MUCH nicer person than I.
Is that the only car, truck?
Insurance is cheaper if you have more drivers than cars

You control for the number of operators so not all cars are expected to be in operation at the same time

Sorry, but I'm being dense. Say a family of three shares two cars... Wouldn't that have each of their cars on the road a lot more often than a family of two with three cars?
