Is your noselamp trim flush?

My DE was delivered with the first revision of the noselamp, which did not have retaining clips. It bothered me that when you run you hand over the edge there was a significant bump with something that should be flush. I mentioned this to service, and when my Gravity was in for a steering repair they also replaced this with the current nose lamp and trim assembly. I appreciate the effort, but it honestly seems worse if anything -- there's a big gap at the top that leaves get stuck in and which i can see the LEDs through, and still a big bump that is not at all flush.

Is this within spec? Does anyone have a smooth transition from the hood to the lamp assembly back to the hood? It's certainly not a priority for me as it doesn't affect driving, but if this is out of spec I'd like to get it fixed while the warranty is still active.

Mine has only a slightly smaller gap, and isn't entirely flush. It never bothered me before. Now look what you've done 😆

I've actually been pretty happy with Natick service overall. I realize a lot of the cosmetic stuff is outside of their control, like the atrocious bubbles in the corners of the window gaskets. I sent them a note asking if this was "within spec".
 
Mine isn't really a concern - it's in the "leave well enough alone" category.

Mine was fixed with the revision, it's not completely flush but good enough for it not to bother me.
