yeah, dive into the work it takes to optimize an elevator algorithm and it's no longer "just" an elevator 🤣

For the elevator question:

> first, you ask for the PIN
> the you close and locked the doors
> you flash error messages to get their attention
> then you open the doors a crack and test the IQ of the occupants and see if they can get out

Yes but Ferrari has an average selling price extremely high (revenue was 7B), and they have a licensing merchandising business that just prints free money (branded toys, shirts etc, all the cars in the video games). They seem to have a similar model I';d say, maybe one or two big dealerships per large metro area.

Not saying Lucid as a car company is anything like the most highly regarded luxury brand, but they both move metal that has to be supported and moved...

Are you thinking energy storage for home and utility? I do think they should be actively trying to use extra capacity for something related like battery packs.

Button clicks per minute per floor request:P Plus hitting rapidly close door button before others outside can request elevator....

Yep. The cheapest Ferrari model is $247,000. That's not a car for routine transportation, it's bling for the super rich. For that customer base, the price is virtually irrelevant. They can charge whatever it takes to make a profit and those customers won't even blink.

While the Air and Gravity are expensive luxury cars with high price tags, they're still practical vehicles targeting normal transportation needs. Lucid still wants to be a mass market automaker. While $80k-$120k is expensive, it's still on the upper edge of mainstream, and those buyers still blink at an extra $10,000 in price. Lucid can't just tack on $100k more to make a profit and get away with it like Ferrari does.

And those margins will mean even more when Cosmos comes out. The more mainstream you aim, the more price conscious buyers become.
 
If you're buying shares at these prices. A company still in its first/second inning of growth. You should be extremely pleased with all the changes currently happening.

Just because you have good talent doesn't always means you have the right leadership to lead it to greatness.

This sounds like a huge assumption. I don't recall hearing an official statement from the company on this.

Yeah my car works great (both of them); it’s not just you.

I know around here sometimes it can feel like we’re the minority but I’m quite certain we’re not.

The actual minority is still too large, though, which is why they’re all here. :p jk
