Marc Winteroff out

Surprised about this exit, Napoli isn’t an auto man, thought he might keep Marc at least a year
The announcement says Lucid eliminated the COO position. For better or for worse, Napoli is exerting direct hands-on management of the company. I think that's a good sign, though the road ahead is not going to be easy.

Classic corporate action. Incentivize him to stay through the transition and then cut him afterwards. 😒
I hope these actions help stabilize the company to grow. FWIW, I really like the look of the Cosmos though it's not as revolutionary as the Air was when it came out.
But I would argue revolution is not what Lucid needs right now. They need to advance all the "boring stuff"! Operations, cash flow, volume, and above all, peerless quality & reliability!
I'm truly pulling for them!

I'm hopeful that Mr. Napoli's efforts to have a more direct reporting organization will move the company toward more money and resources to the areas that need it most. Napoli is certainly taking responsibility - I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Aligning production with demand - EXCELLENT! :). What on earth was the second shift making, anyway? Seems like allot of inventory on hand already.

Not a surprise. Gravity sale probably not matching expectations. Need to get the house in order first. Fix Service, etc.. Fiscal prudence is absolutely required to ride though this trough.
Someone on reddit tracking lease incentives says Lucid just threw 2.5k onto certain Gravities. Don't think mid-month incentive changes are very common so someone wants to juice sales figures ASAP

They have to get rid of the inventory. Cutting production staff 18% is a clear signal that Gravity is not selling. (at least not to their expectations). There will be financial impairment going forward. It won't look good for a few quarters!

The million dollar question si: "is this a buy opportunity?"

On this news, honestly I'm surprised the stock is only down $0.14 -- less than 3% (so far)
Give it a little bit. This might also be its bottom given that these guys are basically out of business now. No word on a 27 Air (their biggest seller), Gravity sold so bad they’re cutting builds down- does this look like a company that’s gonna launch a new affordable midsize anytime soon, if ever? No. This is probably as low as it’s going to get before it goes private or bankrupt.

They need to dump their Robo Taxi nonsense and get into the spaceship business apparently.

Do you have sources they're going bankrupt? If so, please cite them.

I don't think Gravity's slow sales is recent news. If you follow the lease incentives, the delay in 2027 model booking, etc., the slow sales in Q2 (and likely beyond) is not a new revelation. I think the stock price reflects that.

The "positive" of recent exec departure is Napoli is taking charge. The efficacy and urgency of Napoli's leadership have yet to be tested. For better or for worse, he is sailing the ship now!

I hate to see job losses, but I also am happy to see rapid action being taken to lean this organization up. As others have said, they need to focus on execution at this point. Get functioning vehicles out the door and into customer hands.

This is nonsense. You are literally just making this up and it is untrue.

Thanks for your detailed and incorrect analysis. :p

That’ll save us all.
