strange thing is and maybe just coincidental but after I got the 2.6.2 update, mine has been 100% stable, and that was after a several week period of needing resets 2-3x/week. I still have my wifi on and there's been no increase in signal strength of cell or wifi where I park my car. so I don't want to jinx it but something seems to have happened (?).

This happened to me today after 1 year of ownership. Service said to toggle to personal cellphone Hotspot but that didn't work. Performed this method and it worked, thanks. Rear lower cushion removal was unnecessary. Access to the wire harness was tiny.

Seems to have happened right after I had plugged in during a soft reboot. Might have been a coincidence.

I did locate the TCU, mine was towards the passenger side. Dumb question though. How do you disconnect the TCU? Do I have to squeeze and then pull the connection? Or can I just yank on the connection? It’s an awkward angle to reach so I want to be careful as I can’t see where the plug inserts.

Press down the tab on top of the harness and pull outwardly

I had the same issue today. I can confirm that this method to reset the TCU works. I've had my car for over a year before I had to do this. I tried to set up a service appointment but there were no dates available for over 2.5 months. Then I found this post.
I did have a similar problem with the GPS before, not sure if connectivity was lost then or not, but it fixed after a reboot. This time no amount of reboots seemed to help. Was able to reset the TCU with the described procedure and worked perfectly. Thanks!
