My car has less than 1k miles, but the wipers already seem to leave a streak in the middle and a haze that takes forever to evaporate..can this be improved with aftermarket blades or something? It seems tough to get a really clean 'wipe' after spraying fluid..it also just dribbles down right into your field of view while you are driving. Wonder why they just didn't stick with the usual spray mist onto the windshield.

Mine too. It is literally the only thing on my list of issues for service to address when/if I ever need to get service. (There was another issue on the list previously, but it somehow fixed itself.)
 
Same on my Air. I think their wiper design does not put even pressure on the blade. I've tried a few things like different types of rubber, different blade extrusions, 3d printing parts to put in the wiper arm to increase pressure in the center, etc. So far the best thing has been to use a hydrophobic glass cleaner like rain-x whenever I clean the windshield. It keeps the streaks away for a week or two until I clean it again.

I legit thought it was broken and they said no that's just how it is. Its just...bad.
 
I’m interested in a solution as well. I’m not picky about wipers at all, but the ones on the gravity happen to leave a huge blotchy smear right in the center of my field of view after every wipe. They’re uniquely ineffective.
 
Wipe them with alcohol. That’s how you clean them. You might be surprised just how much better they perform after that.
 
I thought it was maybe the car was in storage in dry AZ or something for a bit and the rubber dried out. Hopefully they release an improved design or Rain-X makes a replacement insert.
 
It appears I have very low expectations from my wipers or have never owned a good set. I have been through snow and rain and have no complaints about the wipers. I do use Rain-X washer fluid and I don’t try to conserve fluid, however I just don’t have any complaints.

Low expectations and a Lucid stockholder… hmm, I see a pattern…
 
You can't replace the entire wipers with 3P, but you can pretty easily pull out and replace the rubber / silicone blade part. I swapped mine to these Kimblade square edge blades and although they are noisier they do a really good job of cleaning IMHO:

Interesting that the Gravity has the exact same issue as the Air. I guess it makes sense that they don't re-engineer everything.

Do you have the part number you used in your Gravity blades?
 
In Quebec, with winter, salt, sand, and ice, windshield wipers get incredibly dirty. For several years, I’ve learned that I can improve the performance of my frozen wipers and extend their lifespan just by cleaning the rubber blade with alcohol every three months.
The results are impressive. Previously, I would change my wipers twice a year, after winter and before winter. Now my wipers last nearly 2 years if I don’t damage them with freezing ice.

again its not whole wiper replacement just the silicon blades. you just order the blade refills and then trim to fit the gravity wipers

I user them on my gravity (and our BMW iX). Its just the blade refills, trim to fit into the stock wipers
 
I had an Air '23 that had a streaky driver wiper and now my brand new one does too. It would not be so bad, if it weren't in my direct line of sight. Not only does it streak, it squeaks.
How can it be, that a car that has been on the market this long, could have such an absurd flaw???

Your wiper is dirty. Clean it with some rubbing alcohol.
