I just leased a Gravity, just over 1000 miles old. Suddenly while driving the car started vibrating very strongly in the rear part, only allowing me to go only at 9 miles an hour, three messages were posted on the screen: BRAKE PERFORMACE REDUCED, REAR WHEEL STEERING WARNING, and AIR SUSPENSION UNAVAILABLE. Seconds later, another sign told me that in five minutes the car would be undrivable. Thanks God that I was not in a highway and able to park. Now it is being towed away. VERY DANGEROUS AND UNREALIABLE CAR!!! So sorry that I left the Tesla I was driving.
I will try to return it.
 
Yes, because Teslas have never, ever broken down. :rolleyes:

This smells funny. Joins today to post FUD about Gravity.
Show us pictures of current notifications messages; include mileage counter ("~1000 miles") while you are at it.
 
If you are a new owner and did have this awful experience, sorry that happened to you. It sounds like perhaps you may have had a drive unit failure, which only a very few ppl have posted about on this forum, and service usually will take care of it promptly, but you can probably understand the skepticism considering the lack of details or photos posted. Please share additional info to help others and Lucid learn more about your circumstances

Sounds like a drive unit failure. Also sounds like it broke gracefully, informing you to get off the road and get to safety. ICE cars just… break in the middle of the road, so this sounds like a better experience, actually.

Lucid will get you taken care of, I’m sure.
 
We got all those messages when we had a tire punctured on our second day of ownership. Replaced the tire and all was good. Lucid software had our back and got us off the road safely and Americas tire hooked us up with the new tire the next day. It was unfortunate and expensive but not the cars fault. Perhaps it could be a crazy bad tire pressure sensor?!
 
Just had a random “air suspension unavailable” error pop up for a split second in my Gravity on the freeway at 70 mph. We thinking it’s a precursor or just a glitch? I had DD premium engaged at the time. Never seen it before and found this thread.

Update: called customer care. Got a callback in about 2 minutes. Remote diagnostic check shows no errors. Must be a gremlin.
 
It's just disappointing to see this behavior real or not. It's a car, they breakdown occasionally. No part of the SOP is to login to internet and social media and post without evidence. You pull over safely, consult the manual for what the errors are, call for tow, call service and get your sh*t handled.
 
The fact that they joined just to make one post trashing the car, posting in capital letters, and never engaging in any conversation with anyone on the forum, yeah this is someone who came here just to slam the brand.

And we just keep pushing the post to the top of the forum.
 
It sounds like a drive unit failure. I had the same thing happen to me after launching my Lucid Gravity after several months of ownership. I had successfully launched it several times in previous months before I got the error messages on my pilot panel. It took several weeks after taking my car in for service before it was actually replaced. Just because people don't post, doesn't mean that others aren't experiencing similar issues. The original poster should be trusted instead of shamed for raising a real concern.
 
Just let this thread die? This thread had been dead for almost 8 months and was resurrected from the grave.
 
Maybe new members can’t do a “trash the car” post unless they’re a verified owner. If you post and can’t verify ownership in 24 hours then it gets deleted maybe. 🤷‍♂️

Also, no follow-ups from OP for a few days == delete the thread.

Their "last seen" date is the same as their "join" date. No drive-by comments (positive or negative for that matter) without further engagement.
