Thought Bach was fired for terrible software, he was in product development.

Usually when they ask you to resign, go ahead. At least you leave with your reputation intact. Why work at a place they don't want you? He didn't resign so they fired him.

Peter did the smart thing and resigned.

I thought Bach was hardware not software

Yeah, that's the exact opposite of what he was responsible for. He was responsible for "all hardware engineering and integral to product management and corporate planning for Lucid".

Have you heard of 'wrongful termination'? Being fired from a role because of discrimination, which is allegedly what happened here, is illegal. Being 'asked to resign' for the same reason is also illegal.

I'm sure you know all of the details of exactly what went down with that. I'm sure it's just that simple. ;)

Mmm...guess the software executives are still there, and I was optimistic concrete changes were being made.

Probably Bach didn't get along with CEO...or he thought he should have gotten the interim CEO job creating distrust.

Seems Morgan S saw this coming. It feels like Lucid is falling apart all sides. Another 10% down day loading.

The interim CEO is the old COO. You know, instead of speculating without any kind of evidence, you could read the complaint. It's pretty specific with the allegations it makes.

I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes at Lucid, or how factual Bach's complaint might be. The one thing I do know is that Lucid really needs to focus on producing and selling trouble free vehicles. I really hope the organization is not in as much disarray as complaints like this imply.

I'd be very interested to hear what he has to say if Rawlinson one day speaks publicly about his departure.

Getting tangled up with HR never ends well. Personal vendettas always results in a firing.

I would assume he likely cannot, as would be typical of an exit arrangement.
