Oh I get that too. There were a bunch of cars I almost picked out of impatience but would have had some compromises, so I’m glad I stuck it out until I found what I really wanted (well, what I really wanted plus the tow package 🤷🏻‍♂️).

Definitely hold out for what you really want!
 
Almost bought one last night that was my build plus one additional option. Kicking myself now for not doing it. Oh well, there will be more I guess.

Me, too. This process is now a bit odd...a little "Wild West-ish." Last night, I saw a config I loved "avail in 2 weeks" so I texted my SA right away, but it was Friday evening so I never heard back. Today, the one I wanted is gone. Ugh.

So I guess I have to ask my SA, if I see one, should I re-apply a downpayment to grab one if I see it or do I need to wait for SA to change the order to a new config?

Just grab the one you want online and they’ll reapply the payment. If you’re SA has to be involved, you’ll lose it.
 
The only thing I did not order was the Technology Package. The towing package could very well be an asset. Like for a bike rack. Oh, it just occurred to me that, with the power package, we can charge our E-bikes from the car!

Oh, don’t get folks started on the weight limitation of the tow hitch and bike racks…

Jeez... The hitch limit is 110 lbs. Our bike rack must weigh 50-60 lbs so one bike would probably overload it. I'll have to get out the scale but I won't be able to carry both bikes. Of course both bikes will fit in the back end.
