Gravity software updates

I don't even have my Gravity yet and I'm excited for the update living vicariously through you folks that already have yours!

Folks - my car at the Scottsdale service center awaiting delivery date just got the Version 3.3.1 software update like about 10 minutes back. Anyone else confirm this and what it entails?
Nice! First I'm hearing of it. Waiting eagerly to get notification so I can try upgrading on mine (and read the release notes!)

My delivered Gravity has no update. The other is showing 3.3.1 It’s “in production” but started showing software updates a week ago. I checked earlier today and it was 3.2.2 and now it’s 3.3.1. Clearly they’re rolling it out, but probably to undelivered and maybe demo cars first…

Those are my thoughts precisely. According to my SA from yesterday, this is supposed to be fixing the dreaded key fob issue specifically. And yes, seems like thus far it's for undelivered cars, coz as mentioned earlier, my car was all ready to be delivered yesterday after it too had it's Honelink issue fixed by unintsalling and reinstalling a few updates up and down.
I actually like this idea coz it means folks getting their cars fresh would not have anything to complain about upon delivery (hopefully)

Wishful thinking! There is always something to complain about. 🙃

Oh wow the update requires going to the service center. That explains why all the upcoming deliveries are already at 3.3.1 while those with existing gravities haven’t gotten this yet.

It doesn't require going to a service center. I'm doing it remotely from another country while my Gravity sits in my garage

Under the “keys” paragraph, “To ensure the highest level of security, part of this update requires a quick in-person service by a certified Lucid technician. This process is brief, complimentary, and can be completed at any Lucid Service Center.”

How exciting! I'm looking forward to reports about people's experience with the new update, while I sit here contemplating someday having my Gravity go into production.

I also wonder what is required for Halo Secure as it says it’s only available in “specific trims” but I don’t see that listed anywhere.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, I think halo secure is only available on DreamDrive Premium and Pro only.

It’s not listed on the list when you option DreamDrive Premium, but there’s a picture that says “Surround View Monitoring” when you select it.

In the compare vehicles page for the Grand Touring its just listed as a feature so I wonder if by trim it just means the standard Touring won’t have it when it comes out but all DE and GT will?

So exciting! Especially for those who already have their Gravities!

@AldoBoy - thanks 🙏 for sharing these. The last line seems to have been cutoff in the last pic - about the phone calls - can you share what the update says about phone calls?

As I eagerly await my Gravity - I know we don’t have CarPlay yet but that too will be coming. I hope that this Phone fix improves the call quality. My daily drives include so many work calls that if I were a lawyer I would be tempted to get a vanity plate “LCID LWYR”
😂

Can’t wait to hear more from everyone who gets to experience this update!

Finally, one bright spot for having our Gravity spend most of its time at a Service Center . . . .

I wonder if there is some kind of fob firmware update. Also hope maybe we get the mobile key?

In any case, I still need to deal with this front trunk situation. I cringe every time I need to use it. Guess it's time to finally go to the Beverly Hills service center.

The only issue I see here is if they try to tell folks they need to wait several weeks for an appointment as with regular repair work right now. Hopefully, this is prioritized and really is “quick”…
