I picked up my new 2025 Air Touring last weekend. This is my fourth EV (two Teslas and a Mercedes-Benz before) and this is by far the best EV I have ever driven. I absolutely love the car.
Based on the reviews that I read/watched, expected some software issues, but pleasantly surprised with the software experience so far both in the vehicle and the Android app. The only glitch I saw was on my drive home from the Lucid Studio when I couldn't hear phone audio over Android Auto, but that fixed itself in subsequent drives and hasn't been a problem. I love having Android Auto after the annoying bluetooth experience with Tesla over the last few years. The phone key with my Pixel works every single time I walk up to the car. I guess Lucid has made big strides in improving its software!
The only thing I wish the car had is a dashcam feature. The "sentry mode" monitoring while the car is parked that Tesla does is nice-to-have but never really helped me, but it will be good to have an inbuilt dashcam that works while driving.
