2022 Lucid Air GT
I just dropped off my 2024 Air Pure (18 mo lease) and had the opportunity to buy a "New" 2022 Lucid Air GT with 17 miles at a great price.

The Air Pure was a great car but I live in the north east and need AWD in the winter for a 20% driveway grade. The Air GT was a unique opportunity to pickup a never titled / non-demo car supposedly on hold for a "VIP". Whatever the reason, it was a price that was too good to pass up and I was already in the market for a used GT to replace my pure.

I don't love the two tone so i'll be getting the silver / chrome wrapped in matte black.

A few pics below and questions if anyone has input:
  • I can't seem to get the cameras calibrated. The highway assist / lane change feature is unavailable. When I look at my dash visualization, cars in the dash are all smashed in the "center lane" visualization. My car also jumps from the center to riding the line in the visualization. Is this something only the service center can do?
  • I've read a number of opinions on the wheels/tires. I didn't have a choice and I love the look of the 21". Are the tires still an issue? My date code is 2422
  • Any other must haves? I have a slow charge & fast charge Lucid / Tesla adapter from my last car. What else should I get?

Thanks!

All weather mats? Tuxmats for the best coverage, 3D mats for a choice of gray color if you prefer.
If you get 21" wheels for 3 seasons, are you prepared to swap back to the 19's for all-weather/snow tires?
Have a service center re-calibrate your cameras.

Thanks for the tip on the service center, I'll give them a shout.
Good call on the tuxmats i'll check those out. I wasn't super impressed with the first party mats last time.
I have an extra set of slightly used 20" for winter which I've swapped out in my driveway before so all good there.

One other issue i've run into, again potentially service center. When I try to login to my profile on the car I get an "authorization denied" error [7] or something like that. I've already tried with / without MFA and have changed / updated my password and done a logo reset.

Congratulations on your new car. Do you telling us about your lease return si ce it has been a hot topic on this forum. There's a thread for it. I will appreciate if you can contribute your experience, bad or good. This is the thread name "Lease return excess wear & tear"

Thanks. I'll post in the other thread after I have the total from the report. So far all I have are some photos that Lucid took during the drop off process.
