I've had the first Gravity in NH and at this point I wish I didn't. Yes, the car is powerful and drives well, but so did the Tesla S I had for 9 years. The software problems are inexcusable in my opinion. They have a number of engineers from Tesla, should have learned something about software: Connectivity issues, key issues, won't self park into the garage, satellite radio works half the time, sun screens don't go up reliably, etc. Happy to get rid of my lease if I could....

what does the Lucid support say?
not sure what the lease agreement say, does that allow you to change hands? I've used www.swapalease.com before but not for a Lucid.
If you can post parts of the leasing contract we can have a glance.

Where in any video or marketing material have you seen Lucid show the car self park itself into someone’s garage?
Have you contacted Lucid to have the car looked at? SiriusXM isn’t satellite radio in the traditional sense, it relies on internet connectivity. Do you live in an area with spotty cell coverage? Particularly AT&T

Fair enough....never saw that it could. My Tesla did it, and for a narrow garage / wide car, it helps.

Sorry to hear about your troubles gsj. I haven't had the best experience either so at this point I'm wishing I could go back to my Porsche. I've had the same issues with SiriusXM radio. I know it isn't satellite, but I don't care how the radio works, it should be reliable without workarounds. None of my last 10 cars have had radiio issues. On top of that, in 2 1/2 weeks the right side of my upper display went out. There have been other issues as well, but mostly minor.
I do have faith that my issues will get resolved - or at least I'm hopeful. The car is a great driving vehicle, but that only goes so far.

Pretty sure (positive) Lucid has never offered this. And has never promised/hinted it. I see the use case, but also wouldn’t trust Tesla to park my car or use summon anywhere but a huge open parking lot. Especially if it was near my garage door with a small gap, sounds like a recipe for car repair and home insurance claim.
Sorry to hear about your experience, I think as the email to owners states that many of these issues are first on Lucid’s list to fix. I’d be interested to hear how your service experience went, as many are reporting excellent things in regards to quickly rectifying issues.
Also, software problems are to be expected for a new release vehicle. I think it’s asking a lot too much for it to come out fully polished. But that’s just me. Gotta enjoy the process of making this vehicle even better.

The car will be able to auto park into marked spaces, parallel park in between cars if identifies, and park out so you don’t have to pull out, but I don’t know of plans to park in a garage. (Auto park isn’t working yet but will soon via OTA, but the auto park in my Air only recognizes a spot 1 out of 10 fries for parallel parking so hopefully Gravity will do better). FWIW parking your own car is still super easy though cuz of the cameras and the distance meter which is deadly accurate down to the inch. I have a very tight garage and have to fold the mirrors in to get in and alive never had an issue.
Yikes really? I use it all the time, and for me it's more like 9 out of ten. I use the auto unpark a lot too, but that's more out of laziness

My wife has a new 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper and although auto parking is significantly better than Lucid, the Tesla won’t park by itself in the garage. I’ve never heard of a car that is able to do this today.

It's the dumb summon feature, you can use it to move the car into and out of the garage
Parked the Tesla in a narrow garage for 9 years. Mirrors folded and the car pulled in or out. Never a problem.

Respectfully, your expectations were unjustified on a few of those fronts. You're made about features which nobody said were there. It's painful to see someone complaining about a car that they didn't research before purchasing. Simply expecting a car to have certain features because it's a higher end car, or because previous cars had it is clearly on you.
Understood on the XM radio, I'll give you that. It's not like they're going to tout the fact that it does NOT have a real receiver but is, instead, using cellular data. That CAN be a plus in cases where satellite signal won't come through, but data will, but it obviously falls apart if the cell service is trash.
Lastly, buying the first iteration of a revolutionary design from a young car company....you absolutely should expect issues. You're not buying the 20th version of a BMW or Mercedes sedan that has been honed over time. Also, due diligence ahead of time would've shown how many software issues have been experienced in the past by owners of the brand...it's reported everywhere you can find people discussing Lucids. I love it, but the history regarding the interface issues have been well-documented....especially the 1.x days.
I think you'll be happier with it if you can reset your expectations, I mean that sincerely.

If you want a reliable car from the get go , then do not take first year of any model of cars
All new models regardless of which brand they come with their own issues period
I prefer to get any model from 2nd or 3rd year where they worked out everything or at least all issues have been known and expectations are expected

If you take gravity you MUST know what you are doing or leave it for someone who really wants one
