Does anyone have any ideas to stop the water dripping in the trunk or sides after a car wash. I wipe down the sides but when I open the trunk water starts dripping and I have to keep wiping it. Is there a hack to funnel the water away from the sides?

Nope. Welcome to the club. :p

Just keep wiping… just keep wiping… just keep wiping…

Was hoping Bobby would have a solution like wind noise fix.
That solution didn't work for me..did it for others? Still wondering if there will ever be a fix ..

When I use one of those "drive-thru wash then park for detailing" establishments, I immediately open the trunk. This allows some of the water around the upper trunk gasket to dry up. You can also get in there with a cloth and push the standing water to either side to accelerate the draining process. The bottom edge of the trunk lid gets filthy so it needs to be opened for cleaning anyway.

Unfortunately, after reaching another destination following a car wash, I always find dirt/water stains on each end of the bumper surface. Can't seem to prevent these. lol

for the trunk, I am thinking of getting small grocery plastic bags or plastic roll and just squeeze them between the gap and wash the car

I think that would work

another option is to get a Turbo Fan that would work for sure after washing the car and before wiping it

The trick is to open the trunk first and then wipe the rest of the car. Then when you get back to the trunk, most of the water will have already drained through the sides.
