Dream Drive Pro Highway assist stearing sensitivity

I have an Air Gt with DDpro. When DDP and Drive Assist are activated, unless i grip the stearing wheel at the 10 & 2 clock position and squeeze, the red flashing warning tells me to. grab the wheel.
If I grip the wheel anywhere else with two hands the alarm sounds. Is this something that can be adjusted?
 
The wheel doesn’t have capacitive sensors….it doesn’t know where you’re holding it. It needs you to just slightly wiggle the wheel when the first (text, not audible) warning pops up. Just a tiny nudge is all it takes.

Most of the time, I’m applying a bit of lax resistance to the auto-steering, but if it can’t “feel” us doing that it pops the warning. Kinda over-cautious, but without capacitive sensitivity I guess it’s their only option.
