Recently, when I pull my home L2 charger (ChargePoint HomeFlex) from the car, the Pilot panel freezes but other screens are fine. The only way to correct this is with a reboot from the steering wheel buttons & brake. Using the Air logo is a nonstarter since that screen is frozen. The real inconvenience is that when I back out of the garage I typically retract the side mirrors. That too is a no go since the frozen screen makes that function inaccessible. This is a repeatable issue.

Any ideas?

Are you sure the car is not charging when you remove the charging chord? I have noticed that when my car is fully charged and I approach the car, the car turns on which drops the battery from the limit I set and it starts charging again. I have to turn the charge off before unplugging.

Yup, his scenario is exactly what happens to me. As @Andretex had mentioned, yes, I did interrupt the charging since I was ready to leave, but that shouldn’t have made a difference. I’ve done this with every EV I’ve owned and it was always uneventful.

So the question is why is this happening? The next time I’ll try manually ending the charging session prior to unplugging. If that works, that’s a new procedure I never encountered. Better yet, I’ll try Neurio’s suggestion in the other thread to hit the nav button on the cockpit screen.

Sometimes I've noticed the navigation screen seems "stuck" when I first get in the car but I was always able to change screens. I will try to see if it correlates to disconnecting the EVSE before stopping charging. It does seem like a weird issue.
