Interesting. I will try that next time.

My key/phone are not the issue. They are not near the car. When charging the fans almost continuously run with the car in the garage and the outside temperatures in the 90s.

    Just sitting there

When I had a Lucid Service tech here one day he showed me had to put the car to sleep for 15 minutes and then open the door and then insert charger. That process worked for a while and then stopped working as I was getting 0.1 mile/hr charge and then it would drop to 0 mile/hr charge. So you...

What process do you go through before plugging into 120-volt receptacle?

    Just sitting there

Important Update - Last night with the car unplugged I lost 17 miles range over a 15 hour timeframe. I plugged it in this morning to my 120-volt receptacle and it registered I was getting 2 mi/hr while charging. I will see how long that charging range will last as the temperatures increase...

    Just sitting there

When I installed the wiring back in March, I thought the Lucid Home Charging Unit (LHCU) was coming out in the 2nd qtr and didn't pay much attention to installing the NEMA-14-50 outlet. I'm not an electrician and paying to put a NEMA 14-50 in and then paying to have it taken out to install the...

On a related note, I have found that leaving it unplugged you lose less range than if you leave the car charging into a 120-volt receptacle. With the heat in the garage and the fans almost continuously running when charging on 120-volt, I have found unplugged is far better. I have found I'm...

Lost range at home after Charging at Electrify

Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say after the car is asleep, unlock the car and then open the charging door & plug the charger in. Then lock the car again. That seemed to work for me.

Lost range at home after Charging at Electrify

Hi Everyone - I learned a very important lesson about charging my Lucid GT when we went out of the country for 2 weeks. We had the Lucid plugged into a 120 volt receptacle and saw the range going down everyday and couldn't figure out why it was not charging. I was worried that when we returned...

    Hello from Atlanta

We are out of the country until the end of May. When we get back, I'd be happy to meet up with you and show you the car.

Charging at home (@120v) while on trip

You can stop charging remotely. I tried that and it didn't make a difference. When I get back into town I have a service tech coming to check it out.

Charging at home (@120v) while on trip

That is exactly what is happening however, after the charge goes below that set level the fans run, but it never starts charging back to that set limit. I have lost over 100 miles range over the past week and a half without any charge being replaced with the plug in and the app saying it is...

Charging at home (@120v) while on trip

I have been out of the country and have noticed that the mile range has dropped (via Lucid app) almost 70 miles in less than a week. I have the charging set at daily and have contacted Lucid to see if this is normal. Has anyone had a similar experience, i.e., loosing range when not using the car...

Thanks, that is helpful. I thought it was me not being computer savvy.
