As an owner, why are you investing in Lucid?

As some of you may remember, 3 years ago I posted on this forum that I bought 25,000 shares of LCID at 22, I sold 250 call options and it got called netting me a 12 point gain and +$300,000 profit. Paid a little less than 1/2 in taxes and bought an AGT with the rest. I initially kicked myself...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Forget the independent test drives. Lucid should have you and the moderators do the test drives before letting the press get a hold of the cars. Then they could get the feedback they need and attempt to correct the problems before it hits the mass media. I would say that some of the members on...

    Reverse Split

You have some valid points. And I did say "if" in my post. At present it does not look good for Lucid. But then again as I said, "if' some good news comes along, the high short interest will propel the stock higher than normal. Whether we get the good news in time before the stock drops even...

    Reverse Split

I always thought that a high percentage of short sellers could be a positive if Lucid were to have some unexpected good news. The shorts would have to rush to buy the stock to close out their position otherwise they could be on the hook for infinite losses. . I remember 5-6 years ago when Tesla...

Glass Canopy in Platinum : Rear Bow Piece Section has Imperfection / Defect.

Everybody has different interpretations of what is minor and what is not. In looking at the pictures of Takeshi's car, this looks more than minor to my eyes.

Glass Canopy in Platinum : Rear Bow Piece Section has Imperfection / Defect.

We can agree and we can disagree, but when you say "I'd honestly just let it go" it sure sounds like you are giving Lucid a pass. You did not say directly that Lucid should get a pass, but, how else is one supposed to interpret your comment if you say "just let it go". I understand that you...

Glass Canopy in Platinum : Rear Bow Piece Section has Imperfection / Defect.

The more people that let it go, the less likely Lucid has the incentive to make sure their cars leave the factory without defects. My last 5 Porsches, BMW's, Lexus all arrived in perfect condition. If they can do it, why not Lucid. Don't understand the reason why you are giving them a pass. If...

Glass Canopy in Platinum : Rear Bow Piece Section has Imperfection / Defect.

Tell them you want the car just like BOFA wants used leased cars returned to them.

    Reverse Split

Rationally, your argument makes no sense at all as the value is unchanged. Emotionally, the number of shares you own is apparently very important to you. Can't argue you with that

    10 days and I'm out.

The i-4 also offers HUD as an option which the Lucid so far does not. And the i-4 offers both summer tires and all season tires in both 19 and 20 inch sizes, while Lucid only offers all season in the 19".

    10 days and I'm out.

I'm not sure how you can say the Pure is quicker. My take is that in comfort mode the i-4 is faster. In sport or sport plus mode I don't think there is any comparison. The i-4 is a rocket. Which i-4 are you comparing it to, the i-35, the i-45 or the i-M50. Car and Driver in some previous issue...

    10 days and I'm out.

I bought a 2022 AGT for myself and an 2023 BMW i-4M50 for my wife. Both are great cars and each has its advantages and disadvantages. The i-4M50 is actually faster off the line than my AGT as my AGT feels like it has a lag for the first 1/2 second, while the i-4 just blasts off immediately. Of...

    $30K Lease for a Car I Can’t Drive — Lucid Ghosted Me

Good thinking. You may possibly be on the right track here.

Lease return excess wear & tear

Since BOFA owns the car and not Lucid, then why does Lucid even have guidelines about returning a car for lease especially if they don't conform with BOFA's guidelines?
