I charge at work, and am not concerned about someone disconnecting me prematurely. As a matter of fact, I'd like to know if it is possible for the Air to not lock the cable while charging so that someone other than me can unplug while the car is locked. I can't find a way for this to be done...

Thanks! My question though was whether the numbers quoted in the thread are relying on the efficiency reading from the car. It looks from the reply that you do trust the efficiency reading from the trip data, as opposed to some more manual calculation based on observed travel distance and charge...

Better yet, allow us to set an "auto" option to open and close the door when coming in/out. In Teslas, the integration with Q-Link from Chamberlin works that way but requires an installation and a subscription. Lucid has the opportunity to do the exact same thing effortlessly given the SW...

Off the original tire topic, but our Touring range is atrocious in the cold. We are in the Pacific NW and temps don't get that low (20s in the last cold snap) yet we get 2-2.3 m/kwh in the winter vs. 3.5-4 im the summer. How are people calculating range/efficiency? We use the trip meter.
