    Chargepoint DCFC Connection

Do you have one of the Fobs/RFID cards? I used one in Maine last week for the first time, and it worked smoothly without even opening the app. (I'm assuming you had a payment method set up in the app?)

    National Drive Electric Week 2024

I think I only saw an Arizona thread opting to attend an event so far this Spring, so are there any others going? I've gone to several over the years with each step of my EV progression, and it looks to be a fairly full house this year. I'm surprised the usual Tesla Roadster, R1T, electric...

    Philosophical observation

I had to think long and hard about doling out for a GT, but knowing that even the range of a Tesla Model Y could come up short in many parts of New England, 500 mile range - or even in the ballpark - was the primary reason I chose the GT. Driving 5.5 hours each way to a test drive in NJ in the...

    NACS Megathread

I drove from NH to Bangor and back this weekend, and there were two ChargePoint 150kW chargers on I-95 at an easy on/easy off Irving gas station/convenience store/Subway location for me to top up on the way home. I'm used to NH, driving miles off my route to a deserted corner of a mall parking...

    Total Eclipse anyone ?

The Tesla Superchargers were not faring much better. In the St. Johnsbury, VT, chargers, they were passing out numbers to folks and got up to 150 at one point... One Tesla driver reported he arrived at the charger at 6:00 PM and did not get out of there till after midnight. Welcome to the...

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

The eclipse "sunset" with Venus visible on the horizon.... and some beautifuly scenery we were able to sit and enjoy on the 7.5-hour trip home. Totally worth it!

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

Got a spot with a prime western view of the eclipse just north of Colebrook. Not a cloud in the sky. DCFC to 80% for the trip home.

    Total Eclipse anyone ?

Yep, NH is leading from behind again. Here's the advice from local authorities:

    GM released v2h

Lucky you. I tend to lose it a couple times a year - usually only for a couple hours at a time. We have had some incredible ice storms, nor'easters, and such, which can end up with multiple-day outages due to winds, ice, and heavy snow. We've been fortunate with out-of-state utilities showing up...

Tesla to Lucid - Hello from DC

Congrats! I hope you get to drive it on the windy backroads and not just in Beltway traffic! I think your biggest problem is going to be keeping it to under 7,500 miles/year!

    Total Eclipse anyone ?

If all goes well, I'll hit my viewing spot at about 65%-69% and my plan is to charge up to about 80%-85% very early (in case there's a line), which should be more than enough for spending the day and then dealing with traffic or detours heading home. Good luck and happy viewing!

    GM released v2h

I had been wondering about the usefulness to me of the V2H capability as compared to an installed automatic transfer switch to a propane-powered generator if/when my current generator dies. When folks are looking to order/install the V2H, are they basically just trying to keep the fridge/freezer...

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

It's looking up in NH also... fewer clouds. They're getting about 6" less snow than we're expecting at home....
