Yes, I am on 2.9.0. I got that update done weeks ago and have driven thousands of miles since, so if it is a patch issue, it didnt come up right away

Agreed. I wonder if I will see any difference in terms of the whining noise or anything lole that as I have read the newer motors are a bit quieter. I wonder what this would cost if it were not covered under warranty
