Anyone else still on 2.5.x other than me? I've asked CC about pushing the update multiple times now. The first two occasions they said it was being pushed to my car (with no success) and the third time I received a canned comment about the queue taking several weeks (it's been over a month now)...
I had already texted CC last week about not having the 2.6 update before the rollout was paused. I'm assuming it's still paused or rolling out very slowly while they address the bugs. I probably wouldn't bother asking again until the end of the month, at the earliest.
Hey forum friends!
I recently recorded a video of my recent road trip in my 2023 Touring down from Utah to Arizona for the Gravity delivery event at the end of December. The Out of Spec team graciously posted it on their Motoring channel for me. I'm curious to hear what fellow owners think...
Charging duration is 15 minutes and speed is 80 mph (GPS verified). The rest is correct. 😁
On the topic of this discussion, miles of rated range added per minute an certainly be a useful metric to be aware of, as charging speed alone doesn't tell the whole story. However, as your speed...
Hello forum friends!
I recently recorded a video testing charging and range with my 2023 Air Touring and it is now live on the Out of Spec Testing YouTube channel if you'd like to check it out. I realize that charging and temperatures were big detractors, but I still think it's worth sharing...
Great to see you here on the forums! Still really eager to hear more about the charging peformance and explore the software and ADAS features on a production car. Was there any mention of adapters being offered at some point for Gravity or Air?
Hello forum friends!
I just wanted to share this event with everyone in case any Lucid owners in the Raleigh, NC area would like to attend. IONNA is a new charging network that will be officially launching soon, and the Out of Spec team has worked with them to plan a meetup and stress test of...
No one outside of the Lucid engineering team can really say, but I think the fact that my peak charging speed is noticeably lower now than it was before hints that this will probably never happen. I used to be able to peak around 270-280 kW, and now I'm lucky if I can break 250. The charging...
1. No argument from me there! Certainly most of the blame falls onto me for not doing more research and choosing more wisely (not that I don't love my car, regardless), but I am disappointed that the Touring feels significantly less suited for long distance travel than those trims, is all.

Agreed. Certainly anyone that requires or even highly prioritizes speed and simplicity above all else might want to avoid EVs for long distance travel, at least for the time being. Even despite my complaints and the occasional headache I've really enjoyed adapting to this new style of...
As a Touring owner that's spent close to 20k miles road-tripping across the western U.S. I figured I'd throw in my $0.02. For the record, these are my own opinions, and many of my points have already been addressed by others. TL;DR - I think the Touring is an "acceptable" road-tripping EV, but...
