    Charging curve logs post 2.1.52

Yep! For me, at least, it is all out of curiosity. All this charging analysis doesn't have much too much relevance in a real-world scenario. I just think it's interesting to see the differences between each trim.

    Charging curve logs post 2.1.52

The session is used for the comparison was about 39 minutes. The GT was 37 minutes even with the amperage limitation at the beginning. I'd guess 40 minutes should be about the average for a Touring barring any issues, and a few minutes less for a normal GT.

    My 1 year ownership review

Hello forum friends! Welcome to yet another 1 year ownership review, this time featuring my 2023 Touring. Before I dive in I just want to note that this will likely be a pretty long, possibly tedious discussion of everything I’ve found noteworthy as an owner. Most of these points have been...

Request to delay delivery prior to my placing order refused, ? advice?

Is there a specific reason you don't want to let the car sit in the garage while you're away? There are many owners that leave their cars unused for weeks or months without issue, if that's the concern. I could also understand not wanting to be paying for the car and not using it, but if it gets...

    A scary turn

This. Anyone with the time and opportunity really should take their car out to an amateur track day, autocross, or HPDE event. Not only is it some of the most fun you'll ever have with your car, but you'll better understand how your Lucid behaves at the limit. It's the safest place to learn how...

[Soon to be] New Owner from Western PA

Looks like there was a thread discussing this already. Sounds like you can add your car using the VIN, but I think it still won't automatically start charging. https://lucidowners.com/threads/evgo-autocharge.4505/

[Soon to be] New Owner from Western PA

First off, congrats! Unfortunately, you'll have to download and set up the app for each CPO. Electrify America is the only network currently that'll offer plug-and-charge with a Lucid, but that doesn't mean using the other networks is difficult. Usually it just involves plugging in, selecting...

    Steering wheel creaking

The problem is this would be my 4th steering wheel, so I can understand the hesitancy to continue replacing it, seeing as it hasn't solved the issue for me. I'll be pushing back to CC to see what else can be done.

    Steering wheel creaking

My appointment to have my steering wheel worked on today was canceled at the last minute. This is what I was told by the mobile service tech. I'm pretty frustrated and upset at this point. This is not acceptable for a car at this or really any price point. "Unfortunately I was informed that due...

    Need help deciding to buy

I think it really says something that multiple owners stand by their purchases even with the early software woes and higher purchase price. Not to mention that some people have already purchased multiple Airs because they loved the first so much! If and when Lucid offers trade-ins I certainly...

EA's new strategy of under promising

As long as you have the option enabled in the Advanced Settings submenu in the Charging menu, then yes.

New AGT acquisition process. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (the third will surprise you ;-))

It sucks your delivery and financial experiences were not great, but hopefully it'll be a distant memory very soon as you get to enjoy your car. Welcome! For the Alexa issues, I seem to remember having to change some settings or enable permissions in the Alexa app on my phone to get the...

Motor Trend Living a Year with an Air

While there are certainly times public charging can be a frustrating experience, I think overall you will be able to charge with EA and other CPOs with no to little issue. You'll learn over time which stations are reliable and which to avoid. I'd guess I've visited around 15 different public...

    Air Pure DC Fast Charging

Not too far off. Pure battery pack should be around 675 volts at low SoC, and assuming the car receives at least 400 amps from the charger this would put peak speeds around 270 kW. Lots of factors affecting this, of course.
