Lucid Earth (midsize crossover): ready by summer 2027?

What I have heard is that the midsize line will be the first where cars for Europe, Saudi, UAE, etc. will be produced entirely in AMP-2 (rather than knock-down kits). North American midsize will still be produced in AMP-1.

Lucid Dash and CarPlay Nav and Clock are Behaving Weirdly

I would guess mobile can try some things, but if it's not a matter of resetting that unit it may have to go in for diagnostics.

Lucid Dash and CarPlay Nav and Clock are Behaving Weirdly

@Miami_Lucid_Man you have TCU problems you should get service to look at. The TCU provides cell connectivity, time synchronization, and GPS. Normally CarPlay will use the car's location (from the TCU), but if that isn't responding it will eventually give up and use the phone's location instead...

Pilot panel flickering when near airport

Out of curiosity, what model year is your car? Just wondering as it seems like 2025 added more shielding in general. For what it's worth, I'm outside DC. I drive right by airports, military bases, the Pentagon, etc. daily and haven't ever seen anything like that. Just to say it's not systemic...

    Tire low message

If all your tires are the same pressure, it sounds like all of your tires need some adjustment. 19" A/S should be at 49 PSI.

Google Maps now on dashboard screen

Ah yes, that's just a Google Maps update. Lucid has had the option for CarPlay apps to show directions there for a while now, but at first only Apple Maps supported it. Google Maps added support a few months ago.

    LucidLogger

The RWD has a slightly lower battery capacity, but otherwise I'm not sure how to distinguish them from the data either. Let me know if you come up with something. Note the two distinct blue clusters, clearly AWD with the same pack as Tourings and RWD below that. But no idea how to tell the...

Ten Gravity Dreams left to order

People posting here are not representative of buyers at large. People here are exactly the type of enthusiasts more likely to get a DE.

    How to access camera views?

You're talking Gravity, the rest of the folks here are talking Air. We don't have those nice things yet :) (Yes I realize we're in the Gravity subforum here, but it's easy to miss)

Damn Lucid! My efficiency just …

There are so many inaccuracies in that article. This is not how physics works. Steady-state driving is the best-case scenario in any moving object (aside from stopping and going nowhere). An EV can coast, even with one-pedal driving. Just be more careful with the throttle. Or disable OPD...

    2.8.0 Feedback Only!

It's not pressure, it's torque. You just have to put more weight on one side, like one hand + arm weight hanging from 9 or 3. I know a lot of people never got it to work right, but I'd get no nags at all just relaxing with an arm on the armrest or door holding the wheel.

Drive assist and speed limit signs not operational 2.8.0

Sounds like a TCU/connectivity issue. That circle speed limit is the EU version, which normally only appears briefly during boot before the car realizes it hasn't jumped an ocean. You may need service to reset that if leaving the car alone overnight doesn't fix it. Do the built-in media apps work?

As an owner, why are you investing in Lucid?

Well then, why didn't you buy the stock if you didn't buy the car? :p In all seriousness, the broad answer to your question is simply: either we're foolish or we're not investing enough relative to our net worth in either a car or a startup stock for it to be a sizable risk. Or both.

    Can't download lucid motors app

What kind of phone? The current version of the app requires Android 12+, so 15 should be fine. It could be some hardware limitation though, for example the app no longer supports 32bit processors.
