Thanks for responding. I have used CarPlay before, in my X5, and didn't have this issue. I am new to the Lucid, so it seems I have to tinker with all the settings and hopefully learn a few things in the process.

The Apple Map in my Air spans almost all of the US; in other words, it is not local. It zooms in at the local level only when I ask for directions. My question is: can it be zoomed even when I'm not using it for directions?
