Yep. They are competing against luxury EV brands, they need to nail the software experience. I don't even need all the bells and whistles tbh, I just want a stable and reliable experience.
I’m honestly really frustrated and bummed out by Lucid. I really want to love this car, it drives like an absolute dream. But there are just so many things that make the experience lousy:
1. Inadequate AC. This car is simply not pleasant to use in 90+ degree heat and the AC system cannot keep...
I’m seeing constant play pause bug on this release, far more frequent now than ever before. Really frustrating that Lucid engineers cannot resolve such basic table stakes functionality.
I’m also seeing intermittent errors about front camera faults. They go away though after a restart.
I’m with you on this one. Absolutely love driving this car but the software quality is so abysmal there’s no way I’m keeping it after the lease is up. Back to Tesla or maybe BMW.
The car has software bugs. Definitely more than I’ve ever experienced with any other manufacturer. It comes with the territory with this being a new car manufacturer. They’ll get it sorted, but you’re the beta tester right now.
I’ve done the logo reset as well once I was able to get the screens to come back on. Alas the problem still persists. Really frustrating the sheer number of issues my car has had with the basics. They already replaced my faulty CCC so not sure what else is left to do here.
This has been happening to me too ever since upgrading to 2.2.2 and getting my CCC replaced. Seems to occur randomly and only gets resolved if I do a full turn signal reset.
If anyone from Lucid is here, y’all should consider some kind of insider program so you can beta test these updates more thoroughly. There are way too many bugs in this release. The play / pause on steroids bug hits me almost every day now. I cannot reliably play music in this car through any...
Yea but didn’t they test this out before locking themselves into a massive contract? It’s just a huge miss no matter how you slice it. The design is terrible, usability terrible, and functionally it does not work well at all.
