SA gave me a call yesterday, and asked if I had seen the recent communication emails about the change in Gravity configurations.
She then proceeded to ask me if I wanted the HUDless Gravity or would like to wait till Fall. I told her to add my to the HUD wait-list.
Lucid doesn't want to waste previous service time retrofitting HUDs. Same like they don't want to retrofit the loser NVH motor mounts. It's a waste of resources.
Sounds like SA needs to buy them for Casa Grande then send them back in a container labelled "Spare Parts".
Joking but serious.
I wonder if there is a was for the SA factory to do some larger final assembly of the dash such that it can skirt tariffs.
I was 100% not hyped over Sanctuary mode. Everytime someone from Lucid spoke about it, I cringed. No offense to anyone who was hyped on it but it seemed like a totally gimmicky feature.
It's not immersive. You got a giant window right in front of you looking out at the world. Might as well...
Pivot to the Touring model? Strip down the GT but have the larger pack and call it a Touring+. (I know probably unrealistic but is it?)
Anyone who buys a GT now and then finds out later if you waited you could have had a HUD would be upset if the HUD kicks ass. Assuming the HUD really kicks ass...
Now I wonder:
1. When DE holders get their Gravity, will the HUD be enabled?
2. Will the HUD kick ass like we all expect or is it truly half baked?
Guess we find out in 3-4 weeks.
I keep getting this feeling that they are doing everything to push people away from buying the damn Gravity. As if they know they have a problem but instead of admitting it are trying to turn knobs to purposely slow the inflow of orders.
The lease numbers, the HUD...
I mean I'm for sure...
