The moderators and owner definitely have their work cut out for them.
Huge kudos to them for all they do!
There's already a "Bugs/Issues" category in the Lucid Owners section.
The posts there are related to current Air ownership even though the category is not in the Lucid Vehicles/Lucid Air...
Thinking back over this brief discussion about the tow package; you've probably heard of people who overthink things and make stuff seem more complicated than they really are?
That would be me. :)
Some of it is the anticipation/excitement of getting a Gravity and having the time to think...
I also find it interesting that the actual trailer towing ability will come later in a software update.
I'm guessing that update will provide something like a "tow mode" that adjusts the suspension, torque, etc.

The tow bar is hidden/covered underneath and possible holds the hitch housing unit that the tow receiver fits into.
Perhaps the wiring harness/connector is built into the two receiver.
One of the many aspects of the car to learn about.
Yep.

So maybe thats the "very heavy tow shaft" that @hmp10 is talking about. Huh?
I was thinking he was referring to the tow receiver pictured in the manual.
The manual mentions needing to use a Lucid-installed tow bar...

The tow package is now on my radar since the GGT my SA found for me recently includes the tow package.
The description of the tow package on the configurator says "Towing Package includes: Tow Bar, Receiver, Integrated Wiring Harness w/ Trailer Socket Connector (6,000lbs...
Awesome!
Thank you for pointing that out.
I recall looking at your pictures with the frunk seat and license plate, but didn't think about how the license plate until seeing the pictures from @9.81ms2.
I'm hoping to avoid having the license plate frame installed.
However, if necessary, I may try what another forum member did; use 3M tape.
I just asked for an update from that member.
