Saw another Air stopped on the side of the road today. Everything work out okay? I was northbound, so I didn't stop.

I doubt they are sandbagging HP numbers. The biggest advantage the Sapphire has is the much better traction control. Neither of those cars is putting down full HP until well down the track. Also, it was a very hot day which favors the Lucid.

I absolutely, positively am not remotely interested in Lucid or Rivian's or anyone's native solution. Every "app" a car has beyond navigation and Carplay is a detriment to me. Really, I'd prefer my car didn't connect to the Internet except at my specific request. I understand others feel...
