Tony, according to that recall a failure would not have affected steering or brakes. The OP claims that both were affected. So it doesn't look like that was the issue, unless it was some variant of that issue. He posted at about 12pm, but hasn't responded to any of the questions that have arisen.

Sorry to hear about this. Although AC compressor failures are certainly not uncommon in any vehicle, it's the first I've heard of it in a Lucid. I'm surprised that it wreaked so much havoc with the car in general, but if it's the same system that helps control battery temperature, I can see why...

At least in my case I’d estimate that 95-98% of the time the doors open reliably as you approach the car with the fob in your pocket, no button pressing necessary. The remaining 2-5% of the time the opening occurs either just as you arrive at the car or within 1-2 seconds after. Locking is 100%...

The key fob will make you happy, avoid embarrassment and brighten your life. 😊

I live in fear my wife will brush up against the reset. It’s for that reason I never leave that screen exposed and only glance at it when needed. Even if they implemented a long press for reset, that would generally take care of the problem.

For me the only recurring issue is the occasional loss of internet that impacts the audio.

When I was shopping for my car the sales associate showed me both the real leather and the PurLuxe. Both he and I agreed the PurLuxe felt softer and at least for me, it 'seated' more comfortably. I went with Fathom Blue, but again that's purely subjective.

That may have happened (unbelievably) with the Cybertruck. My wife and I are continually amazed at the growing number we see on L.I. Unfortunately, we see far more Cybertrucks than Lucids in the same areas. :( Unlike some relatively radical designs that tend to grow on you over time, this one...
