It does seem pretty antiquated. I found no other option but to send in a cancelled check and the form that you received. It did work pretty seamlessly from there and I now have automated payments made on the first of every month.
I have had the exact same issue. I sat in the car with the displays/AC off as I charged my car this weekend. I then set off the alarm when I opened my door to unplug.
I alternate driving my Air GT and my wife’s Model Y only using the mobile key for both. The Tesla works every time to the point that it set false expectations for how seamless I presumed the Lucid would be. In the grand scheme of things, it is a minor annoyance and I endure it not unlocking 25%...
From a driver’s perspective, I love the aggressive regenerative braking of the Lucid. But my daughter has already gotten car sick a couple of times as a result of the rapid deceleration when I even slightly ease my foot on the pedal. I have a heavy foot so acceleration likely has something to do...
My one year olds car seat activated the alert about 50% of the time. In our Tesla you can indicate when there is a car seat, but no such option exists for Lucid. That alarm is annoying, especially when it is starting and stopping as you drive. So we buckle the belt.
I got 2.0.13 on Wednesday evening and then a rapid succession of 2.0.14, 36 hours wait for 2.0.15, and then 2.0.18 Friday night and 2.0.24 early this morning. Felt behind for a few weeks but caught up real quick.
I don’t believe I even got a key card when I picked up my card. I just use my phone and don’t carry the key fob with me, but am anxious I may need to valet and be without an option.
For my Tesla, I always keep the valet card in my wallet and it works great when needed. Was hoping Lucid would...
I’ve been surprised by the number of people familiar with Lucid in my experience thus far, but very similar in the number of people approaching and asking me my thoughts about the car so far. For the sake of the stock, let’s hope there are a lot more owners and vehicles on the road soon.
